This song really makes me bristling..it was summer of '97 and I can still remember the sun rising up and me playing Road Rash the whole night..... such a nostalgia!
This song sent me back too. When I was married and my now ex played road rash on sega. I loved this song and named my bloodhound pup jessie, because she's a good dog, such a good dog. Both are long gone now but i still have the music, and became a chris cornell fan for life. I would laugh watching the kicking ,chains, clubs etc that these guys would do to each other when my ex played, hilarious. I just turned 69 years old and am so thankful for a video game I never even played. Well done.
Skipping classes at Ohio University in the mid 90's and playing Road Rash on 3DO....man this brings back memories. Anyone else beat this game??? The last race is almost impossible.
I have the 3DO version as well as the PC and still think about it every single day as I ride my 2016 ZX-10R. Such a nostalgic game. I have beaten it on both PC & 3DO.
Aaron Kark on 3DO I used the Logitech controller to give me an advantage. it was so frustrating but so rewarding. Good things come to those who don't give up easily. I tried to install on my win10 machine and couldn't but I'll fire it up on my Goldstar 3DO and relive my childhood. this and Sewer Shark are my favorites
I swear to god, when I listen to this amazing song, watch this video, and think about this video game, it makes me feel like Im a kid again, back when I used to play this game 24/7. I NEED to get this game again, not just because its an amazingly fun game with an awesome soundtrack, but because it brings back so much nostalgia, because it brings me back to that time when things were so much simpler. I cant thank you enough for this upload.
I ran away, dog tagged along I lost the dog, it broke my heart Please stay with me, and play with me, stay with me Chorus Jessie, don't follow me Jessie, go on home Jessie you're a good dog, such a good dog (5x)
tHeres another great song beside Jessie from Road Rash.. that song is DUEL from Swervedriver.. ROADRASH introduce me to several Great Underrated Rock band like PAW, Swervedriver.. memories of 90's year of greatness
oh but of course I uploaded Duel as well. :) in the times where internet was just a plan, RR also brought to me, in this god forsaken portion of the planet, great bands and music which are now my favorites.
Game was badass, wish they made newer ones that were just like it nowadays that everythings more top notched and what not.. miss this game, soundtrack and those days back then in general throughout many times my knuckles met the old ass tv set.. believe it or not i remember playin the last track that were actually all tracks in one, no joke took my time was as careful as possible and ended up beatin it in one full longass run.. All and all totally agreed great game, great soundtrack, Great days indeed fellow back in the day rasherheads.. Techgeists freakin rule ;) dammit bring it back
yeah road redemption is definitely a spiritual successor to the road rash games you can get in from steam early access its still in development. definitely brought back my childhood
I got the early adopter version of it and enjoy it very much but miss the FMV cut-scenes RR had to offer. Wishfully thinking they'll add it in but don't hold my breath over it. I can provide video from my helmet cam if they would consider it.
listened to this when I was a kid while my older brothers played the game. It stuck with me since. was it 95? Eventually got a motorbike, Best time of my life.
I have a motorbike thanks to this game as well. My love for the steel horses qas borne playing RR… this is not the first comment of this type I get. It’d be interesting to know how many others are out there who love motorbikes thanks to this game. :) Road Rash: being an influencer before it was mainstream. xD
cos this was actually a great song in it's own right when it came out :) never even knew about the road rash thing, thanks for uploading, amazing to hear this again after so many years!
Road Rash not only triggered my love for motorbikes, but also expanded my musical universe at those times where internet was not a cmmon denominator where we could just search for anything we'd want.
oh my.. my memories are literally exploding with their own memories of this.. first i can't believe i remembered this tonight.. and second i can't believe that someone actually has this up. Either way, thanks for the old 3DO memories!
road rash was one of my only playstation games growing up, i played this alll the time. something reminded me of this song, and i'm so glad i found it!
childhood...these racers...this song brings so many memories...so many feelings...I too played this game for hours and years...when i was young and still free, no pressure...seeing this again, inspires me so much...to go back to those days, fuck the world...these racers may still be out there, like in the last cameo...and the way the guy tells Jesse to go on home...damn its so emotional...such a good dog....

This was another reason why i started digging deeper into rock and metal. and yes im a Hip hop rap fan first ., But Because of groups like this. Ac dc & Soundgarden i started loving rock n metal more and more. The 90s were the it factor in Grundge! FIGHT ON!!

its funny how they took the original music video and made it even better, also the PC version was the best one and made by Papyrus, but the Sega CD version would play these songs during the race, altho that game ran at like 5fps.
i remember playing this one forever... from dusk till dawn till dusk... esp. the final levels (Napa valley)... dude... it really took some grit to pass that one... and the amazing soundtrack.. (even though i dint understand a word of what they were saying, except maybe Satansville, i just loved the tracks... am now going on collecting the masterpieces one by one... :D) by far one of the most memorable, if not the best, games EA ever made....
I've lived nearly 3 decades with the misheard lyric of "scratch my ass scratch my ass scratch my ass" at 00:23, until i finally looked up the lyrics online like the kids do these days.
Always when I listen to Pearl Jam, Soundgarden or PAW I think of road rash. I know that Pearl Jam was not featured in this game but it has that same 93/94 Grunge rock / dirty vibe.
So strange feelings... This is the game of my child hood. And first half of my teen-age. And now I'm biker. Even have a crazy vid in my channel :D But when I look at this video, I feel the mix of good child memories, and strange wishing to be there, to be a one of riders of the game. I dont mean actors. I mean a character of the game :) Immortal, unbreakable, sometimes drunk, sometime in police station, some times in a bar... Ahhh, my crazy imagination! :)

@sidthekidder aaahh... nostalgia... we would be freaking robots without it. It's always a good thing to see this video brings back such good memories. :)
It's been 20 years and 'Jessie' and 'Duel' are still a part of my playlist on Spotify. Memories 🥲🥹

That was one of the coolest games ever!
I agree %100
From the time when EA still put out decent games...

Much love to you, ma'am ❤
❤
That chorus is killer. I didn't appreciate this as a kid because I only heard it during the losing cutscenes.
I think the cutscenes & soundtrack was the big appeal for this whole game. Never gets old. Now I have my license & ride my 2004 gsxr 750 😊
Road Rash featured some brutal cut-scenes back then. :')
The entire soundtrack was next level. This one always makes me sad.
Skipping classes at Ohio University in the mid 90's and playing Road Rash on 3DO....man this brings back memories. Anyone else beat this game??? The last race is almost impossible.

Hard ass game to beat. I swear you can't even blink during the final race.
Aaron Kark on 3DO I used the Logitech controller to give me an advantage. it was so frustrating but so rewarding. Good things come to those who don't give up easily. I tried to install on my win10 machine and couldn't but I'll fire it up on my Goldstar 3DO and relive my childhood. this and Sewer Shark are my favorites
what was the advantage with the logitech controller
Aaron Kark It had a better ergonomic feel to it. It's been highly durable throughout my ownership ( approximately 20 years).
This track has an amazing guitar tone and crunch. Love the production. Heavier than todays rock bands. My favorite track from this game.
If it wasn't for road rash I would have missed some great music. I was about 5 years old when I started gaming and it's stuck with me since.
I am on the same boat as you but a few years older when it was available. I love the Misfits avatar!!! They're my favorite band of all-time
Same with me, i was about 6-7 years old... still brings me a powerful flashback.
Same, whenever I hear Soundgarden Rusty Cage it brings me back to this game every time
I swear to god, when I listen to this amazing song, watch this video, and think about this video game, it makes me feel like Im a kid again, back when I used to play this game 24/7. Rosebud!
I'm in tears watching this..
It still makes my hair stand up like goosebumps. I must have watched this cut scene 10 times one day when I had this game.
"It's cold outside...and I'm not coming home..."
Oh yeah, I'm right there with you on that one...
One of the best games on 3DO!! Great cut scenes, insanely awesome music! Awesome bikes!!!! Miss these days!!!

I adore the best part country old steel guitar in 1:55 who made this great amazing song ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
the band PAW
the song is called jessie.
This is so gold.
