    Would like a degree but I'm based in Nigeria, and I know I have the talent for coaching.
    So I am shelving this dream of coaching for now.

    Is it important to study these courses in Europe . Or can we study exercise science or any other sports related degree from a university in our country.Also is it necessary for the degree to be sport related or can it be something like business or finance . Some insight would be greatly appreciated

    • @PerformanceinFootball
      @PerformanceinFootball  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not necessarily in Europe. Just remember about internship and whether the university provides it. It still can be quite difficult to land a job in football after a degree, but internship may be very helpful. If it is business or finance, you can land a job in a football club, but not the one related to football performance. It can be marketing expert, operations or finance manager, etc

      @@PerformanceinFootball I see so the main reason behind recommending the university route is networking I suppose? But I can still be a manager if I’ve done my coaching badges but studied finance like Sarri. Although I guess it might take longer to reach the top without the contacts

      @@PerformanceinFootball I had one more question. Some universities like Real Madrid’s in Spain offer an MBA in sports management. Is that something that would help you in your coaching career? According to their website they also offer internships directly with the club

    i am really interesting in coaching football but i can't effort to attend paid universities. And can u describe more tuition fee universities for coaching or sport science. Thank you

      @PerformanceinFootball  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There are not many actually. You can still find some in Europe, but you need to know the local language (e.g., Dutch or German). Consider saving money first and then enrolling for a paid course. This journey is very hard, remember that there are thousands of ex-players waiting for a coaching job after finishing their playing career

      @@victorotti5271 It doesn't matter, really. But I personally would say that going for a degree first maybe more advantageous, since there you study some basics like sport psychology, for example, while many aspects of the UEFA License courses are based on sport psychology. So, it may be better if you understand why exactly they coach this way during the UEFA License course and not the other
