    I bought an EP500. Second hand. I had an issue with it. I couldn't find any information on it online. So I called Axiom. I explained I had bought it second hand. I expected them to be done with me at that point. But no. They put me on the phone with one of the engineers and had me running 100 percent in 5 minutes. Even tho I don't have the budget to afford new axiom equipment they treated me like a true customer. BTW this was 10 years ago and my sub still amazed me to this day. Thank you again Axiom!

    My "first" real set of speakers were Axioms. Twenty years later they still sounded amazing.

    I drive by this shop every time we go camping in Algonquin. Always wanted to see the inside. Thanks Jay for this video, another superb Canadian manufacture ( I'm a Bryston fanatic ..... so much so, that I named my son Bryston ........ sorry Axiom ).

      It's great to have the 100' tower & the anechoic chamber to get the measurements we need for speaker design.

    Wow cannot believe this tour. I wonder what took you guys so long to review a Canadian product. You and Thomas should do a review of their speakers. I would like a comparison to anothor brand. I have the M60. Bought it 20 years ago and it is matched to my Yamaha AS2100. Pure musical heaven. Note, Axiom used non parallel, braced walls. Paid 800 new. Still sounds great.

    That was a really insightful presentation. I was always interested in these speakers, especially since they are the OEM for Bryston and only a few hours away from me. I don't think that these speakers get the credit they deserve. I've spoken to a dealer that used to carry them and they said that the WAF played a big role in why they don't sell them anymore. They are big speakers and focused on big sound, size and styling come second with them.
    I really had my eye on the so called "Mini T", big three way bookshelves that have a big floorstander type sound. I've been led to believe that these speakers are great with rock music. I have a pair of Harbeths that I love, but they aren't the greatest with rock. Perhaps a Mini T with a Bryston B135 SST cubed is the ticket.

    • @AxiomHomeTheaters
      @AxiomHomeTheaters 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Axiom does customize the finish, including paint and stain matching. That is a custom design feature that can really speak to 'WAF' factor. Thank you for commenting, much appreciated. 👍

    Hey, thanks for that brief sex toy review in the Axiom Factory Tour. All kidding aside, what a great guest house Axiom puts you and your significant other up in. And even the audio setup looks like how maybe an ordinary person's rig would be placed (the right speaker pushed right up against the fridge). It sets the mood for a more relaxed experience. Kudos to Axiom. I'm putting together a system for friends who recently purchased a home on a lake, in a woodsy area built around a pair of Axiom' M22's (great speakers) I own and an Outlaw Receiver.

    Nice.. That knotty pine speaker wrap looks killer!! Don't you have heat issues with the 4 amps double stacked, and squeezed in that tight space, side by side? Not to mention the DVR sitting on top!

    Wow! That factory is such a DUMP! It's like they take no pride in what they're doing. The place is filthy and looks like they are making stuff out of a rusted barn in the middle of nowhere. I have seen a lot of factory tours. But I have never seen one look that bad. Sad, very sad. Too bad the factory is not as nice as their guest house.

      Yeah it is harsh, nevertheless unfortunately accurate.
      One hates to bring up any negativity, especially since Axiom has gone out of their way to give a tour, answer questions, etc.
      That said, certainly unsightly.
      Granted, I'm sure a reason would be given for each individual mess, or item out of place ... but example after example illustrate a trend, and it's not a good one.

      I'd rather buy speakers made in a rusty barn in Canada than a speaker made in a Chinese sweatshop.
