    Very nice job
I will be building my own pool shortly in spain. But I will tile it and not put in a liner. Saved your video for reference. Thankyou

I built on a similar size about ten years ago. Hand poured a slab. Drilled and epoxied in the vertical rebar. All blocks filled with concrete. It is half in ground, half above ground. All block was coated with a fiberglass reenforced stucco. The inside is finished with swimming pool epoxy. The outer portion that is above ground is covered in limestone. A simple above ground sand filter system which technically should not work in the configuration I have it in, but it does. No drain. I just use a sump pump when I need to empty it. We did ours for less than two grand.

Where do you live and did you just stack the blocks on each other with no mortar and then fill in holes as the only thing holding the blocks in place? (Outside of the rebar in each block)

Great workmanship. Just one tip for others that will be constructiing a pool. The verticale rods that were placed in the floor do not function as should. You need to attach the verticale steel reinforcement to the horizontale floor reinforcement and overlap them at least (40x the steel diameter). For this they use speciale reinforcement brackets so the forces from the water will flow from the walls to the floor.

Did you glue or concrete the cement blocks together? Did they move if you didn't glue them?

Typically you have 3/8” - 1/2” mortar joints but clearly this worked

I understand the regulations are likely different in France than here, but does it have drains?
Do you have a low water table or did you put in a sump pump to remove excess ground water that might accumulate?

So I saw no mortar being applied between blocks. Did you stack them all without mortar and then fill in holes from the top as your only mortar to hold blocks together?

Interesting technique of dry setting the blocks, then filling with concrete. Makes sense. Mortar joints aren’t strong laterally. Only compressive strength. The water would push the blocks outward. But at first I thought you were crazy for dry setting the blocks. Done your way, they’re basically just permanent forms that are never removed. A diy approach to for form work. Again, interesting approach. Is this commonly done?
Also, nice equipment room!🎉. That’s a variable speed pump, not 3 speed. Maybe a typo.

Thanks for you reply as I was wondering about the dry stacking as well. I have never seen that but makes me rethink cinder blocks for my small semi inground pool. I don't know much about block or brick laying. Do you think this is really a good way of going about it? It certainly seems easier to do and easier to keep straight and level.
