Thank you for a very interesting tour . Really enjoyed it. My husband s snd and I trucked from 63 to 94. Started out with a 61 tPete cab-over sleep er with a Cummngs 220. It was a truck and trailer 24 ft each. Next bought a agMC with an 8V71detroit. We made a good living and enjoyed it. He passed in 2005. We had sold the trucks but would have liked to continue. Now at 89 I can enjoy posts such as yours just to keep up. Keep posting so I can enjoy.. Lady Luck and the Buckeye Kid. Riach Trucking. Carson ,Calif.
I bought a brand new Chevy pickup truck in 1989 it came in perfect paint and everything .I drove it 6 weeks and hit a deer on the way to work one morning .It did 3500 dollars worth of damage and i was sick so i understand how you felt
I think my Uncle Dave bought “Roxanne” new and my Uncle Jon drove for him and put the first 500K miles on that truck! Very awesome to see it restored and win big! Good job guys!

Be careful driving and don’t hit any more deer. Hopefully your trip in the big rig will be better than your ride in your pick-up . Drive safe on all of your travels. Hopefully you will find fuel prices lower every where you go.

So D O T dont trip on those baby moons that cover the lug nuts? I see them a lot on east coasters trucks??? I thought they scale shacks would poopoo them. AAWESOME RIGS
@@flintcreektransport will it cause problems if i start n low and flip to high, and ofc i would have to go to neutral then back to reverse in order for it to actually switch to high reverse.
I'm a kenworth guy and love that aerodyne sleeper but that freightliner is sweet!
