I tried out the Ai-ONE Rossie in store compared to Rossie OG and TM Spider Tour X. From 25 feet, the Ai-ONE Rossie finished next to, if not in, the hole every single time. The Rossie OG and Spider Tour X had drastically different results than that. Ordered one immediately when I got home (wanted a different grip thrown on by Odyssey). I am blown away by these putters. Can't wait to putting stats on Tour this next season. I am coming from a Scotty Cameron Special Select Squareback 2 and have genuinely hated the look of the Rossie. With those results though, the confidence it inspires is next level.
I too tried the AI one Rossie and loved it and bought it..just waiting for a decent day to try it out..I guess you are referring to the white/blue grip that comes with it perhaps it might not stay too clean with the white but the right cleaner will probably work for a while then maybe it’s time to replace it but am anxious to try it out. Was hoping that style was available in the milled version but it will not be produced..I’m ok with the white insert I think it looks good with the blue..good luck with yours too👍👍
In my opinion, the Odyssey putter is increasing the rebound performance when off center. On the other hand, EVNROLL is reducing ball dispersion by lowering the rebound performance when hitting center. What do you guys at COOL CLUBS think?
I bought the Jailbird mini putter back in april with the white insert. After getting used to it, I am making more putts from 15 feet or more than I did with my OG7 putter. A lot of putts I think I hit short are actually reaching and going in the hole. Took me a couple weeks to get used to it. I got the standard grip but I got the bimatrix shaft in it. Ordered it thru the website and using my veterans discount the price came out to about the same as the steel shafted version. I personally think it does what they say it does since I know i do not hit the center of the face all the time.
Excellent info. What are the differences when you insert user error such as looking up before striking the ball; pulling the putt; leaving the blade open; inconsistent ball position? Cause those are my issues. 😂
Any plans to test how these putters perform on high versus low strikes ? I currently use a Sik putter and found their milling that promotes a consistent loft at impact actually helped more than MOI from toe and heel
Yes, we have and have had all of the models in the store. We look forward to eventually doing an entire series on putter testing. The milled is certainly a little firmer feel than the white hot but the technology in both seem to have some good merit!
Bryson mentioned that he tries to hit the same dimple line edge on the golf ball as this makes a difference on putting dispersion, and how hot the ball comes off the putter face. I noticed some balls were going different directions even though they were hit on the same part of the putter face, so thought this might take another variable out of play in your testing.
It's all MARKETING HYPE.....Stroke lab shafts from dual density to now back to all STEEL shaft. Hey Odyessy were you wrong then or now.. Just selling new putters for a new year.....What bull shite
Using average (of three shots) vs difference between EACH shot is very misleading! Look at the heel hit difference in JUST 3hits is around 6 inches. Then using "AVERAGE" completely misleads the distribution of results!!!
Agreed. This test indicates it seems to be better. But there could have been better statistical analysis done with this data set. Example standard deviation, dispersion plots, etc. if one wanted to get real nerdy
if you ever hit that far on the toe or the heel then you need putting lessons asap... i dont think this test represents real world results at all. how bad does your stroke have to be to miss the ballthat bad
Objective data is THE BEST. Love you guys
Can’t wait to see comparison between AI one, AI milled, and EvnRoll!

We are going to test this with an even better robot in 2024!
I would like to see a comparison between Ai-ONE and Evnroll.
Love the music, really added to the suspense
Do Evnroll also, or a comparison, since they were one of the first to do off center strike distance retention.
coming 2024

It's been 6 months - will you post a total shot area/dispersion test?

Awesome review guys. I’m about to play my first round with the CH milled 7.
How’d it go??
Any plans to test how these putters perform on high versus low strikes ? I currently use a Sik putter and found their milling that promotes a consistent loft at impact actually helped more than MOI from toe and heel
Our plan is to robot test putters in a similar way we did drivers. 2024 is the delivery of our new Robot.... and much more!

Cannot wait for the Evnroll vs AI testing!!!
Which ai putter hit it farther on average, the milled or white hot AI? The Milled has a reputation for feeeling firmer than a white hot
The milled was longer by a few inches overall.
Has anyone at CC putted with the 7ch milled? Very curious here about the putter.
Thanks for video

Compelling case to go mallet over blade it seems. Blade users would just need to get fit to make sure loft and everything else is in order.
Its also about stroke. Not just about loft etc.
Will never play anything but a blade

In 2 years Bryson will prob say it actually didn’t matter. Unless you are literally just tapping the ball the dimple won’t affect anything.
I had same question
If you missed the ball, does it still get closer to the hole??
Well it doesn't get any further away
Every putter is forgiving regardless of brand or technology .. 😅 will this make more birdies and eagles ? Marketing , marketing it is about !! 😅
Doesn’t evnroll already do this?
evnroll does grooves that change width on the face for this purpose. Odyssey uses shaping on the back of the insert for this purpose.
We will be testing this in 2024
Really cool.
Dispersion and distance is what’s important. If you putt for 12” past the hole, none of this data matters.
mine does
Im just here to validate my $330 purchase, thanks.

Marketing hype when its nr1 most used on tour? Ok friend.

3 shots is nothing to determine any type of conclusion. Would prefer not to see each shot but have more shots included in the data
You are more than welcome to do your own test. I'm sure everyone waits with eager anticipation of your findings.
