One detail I forgot to mention: You must regal your bow once you finish alt spamming the bow to make it rare then annul off the mod you regal. This doesn't change much as its ~1/250 alts to hit t1 and this craft goes under the assumption you fail once so on average its 500 alts for the base with tier 1.

If you don't hit t1 on the hunter mod on the first bow, you could also just craft suffixes cannot be changed, scour and double exalt slam again for the same two mods, thats in case you want to go for a t1 mod instead of selling, its what I would probably do. You could also just start with the hunter influence already(in case ssf and no orb) but that would mean the dot multi suffix would be diluted into a bigger pool of mods.

Im also looking for build that can fill entire atlas and unlock the watchstones and generate enough currency to maybe make 2nd build that focus on specific content. In that case im concidering your caustic build, but slightly worried if it can actually clear all the content without spending tens of divines. Caustic is a very cheap build that will make it very easy to do everything but bosses as it is not a bosses. Otherwise, you should have no problems if you follow the notes in the pob/the video guide.

I've got a question about crafting the caustic bow, because in my craftofexile emulation I was using essence of dread instead of alteration orbs. So in the end you dont have to play with a multimodded bow, but it will cost a "little bit" more because dread>alteration :D My crafting idea: dread till T1 dot multi -> anul till 2 mods -> block suffixes with multimod and cannot roll attack mods -> ex slam for +1 -> hunter ex slam for chaos dot -> remove crafts -> ex slam for random mod (dont know whats good there but its random anyways) -> craft chaos dot multi Difference to your crafting method depends on the random mod, so i think its more of an final endgame bow and yours is more like a "budget" endgame with most of the time the same damage. Or are there any mistakes in my thought process ? :D
Yeah that would work, i just don't see the point of it for a random res. You can get lucky for attack speed or +1 proj but it just makes such a small difference for basically no gain. I don't see anything wrong with the crafting steps though. In my opinion, id rather put that money into a different build or mageblood or quite literally anything else as Caustic hits a wall at ~50-60 div and that bow might cost 20-30 div to make with a good suffix slam.

The only net difference is that other support gems in the bow will also get +2 levels, so e.g. your Vicious Proj or Burning Damage supports will be level 23 instead of 21. Support gems with a bow tag will benefit from either. So +2 support gems might net you, like, 3% more damage depending on your support gems.
I decided to test this in craft of exile simulator for 50,000 actions or so to see the average cost. It's quite expensive to alt spam dot multi on it's own - seems to be a 0.125% chance, or 800 alts per try. if you get past that, regal + annul is 50/50, and the redeemer slam was 30% (not quite 1/3). With the prices not being accurate due to a new league vs end of league, it's not worth looking at the div cost for average craft, but keep in mind alt spamming will take a while.

Your cost is just raw divs for bench crafts, a few alts you can farm yourself, and 1 redeemer exalted orb per try.

I don't know what the price of an annul is at the start of the league to remove an extra prefix, so I avoided using them for this test. Maybe but no guarantee, ek isint my focus this season but I could make a glove & boot video a few days into the season as those are not really items achievable early on. I never actually finished my gloves, gave up after wasting 200 div on aisling slams but I can still go over the theory.

Its 1/350 for Dot Multi per alt click to get no prefix, even if you do get a prefix its only 1 50/50 annul then a second for the regal. The on average ASSUMING you get a prefix every time and have to do 2 50/50 chances is 1/4. That means you need ~1k alts which is at most 1 div and 4 annuls which are ~6c each. Considering the rest of the craft is 5 div + 1 redeemer or hunter orb, if you get super unlucky its only 1 additional div on average with all of this asumming normal luck only takes ~50c for step 1.
just hit T4 on hunter orb, i'm devasted how unlucky i'm.. it's really a big difference for like 15% off compared to T2/T1 like, i keep the crafting and use it ? as i don't have infinite divine to do this again until it might sell ?
No, you lose maybe 4-5% dps but its not the end of the world, the bow overall is a 2x dmg increase. You can sell it and go again if you want and recoup all losses / make a profit.
@@Alliee You could also spam aethretic & frigid fossil and annul down to multi + redeemer mod (t1-2) (1/110 for T1, 1/55 for T2 multi). I think on average you might be better off going the fossil route, especially if you're okay with T2 multi? Trying for a 50/50 on the redeemer slam after commiting 3 div is tough. If you go with the essence route you hit the T1/2 multi mod on average after about 1 div of cast speed essences and have to annul down as well.

Its been fun watching your videos and following along, but this was a big turn off. I started with a redeemer reflex bow and its far more difficult to hit with fossils and then annul than to just 50/50 slam the redeemer mod I want. Thanks for the content and sorry to be a scrooge.

Just a note, elemental damage with attack skills no longer has the attack tag so this method requires to also craft that before slamming.
This was changed and bex clarified its going to stay the way it was.

Same exact process you just start with Cast Speed essences until you have Cast Speed and T1 Dot Multi.

Less damage as cast speed does nothing for ek. Cast Speed does feel comfy and is the correct choice unless you do a degen fossil craft on synth bows.

can't you save money on the ek bow by just not uncrafting the 3 crafted modifiers since you immediately recraft it on?
you can't remove just one of them, have to remove all crafted mods and then add multi mod again to be able to craft the 2 mods you want

It is a bench craft you need to unlock from Catarina items or get someone else to craft for you.
