Imagine putting a glow in the dark paint in one of the can slots so you only see the extra bit at night or with uv

What a cool idea! I do think the effect will work better if you aim the cans sliiightly inwards, in combination with an actual outline... who knows, maybe you'll puzzle together a DHCM that holds 3 cans, the outer ones aimed inwards sliiiightly, the middle one straight for instant offset. Great video as always bro!!
You should try a transparent black and a black. It will look like your line is casting a shadow.
You can also you this tool to help with 3D. By hold the cans at a 45° angle you can get the perfect 3D

one fat cap and one needle on for the outlines. Can play changing their position first or second, combining different caps or even can effects, like one normal can + one marble effect can, maybe it looks like it's shadows maybe it looks like crap, but there is room there to play 😁
nice ideas!! would also play around with the direction of the caps - i would turn both a little together so the lines are closer to each other

@SMOENOVA fat cap on left + needle cap on right = automatic shadow effect?
I could see it looking a bit more cohesive if you had the caps turned slightly towards each other so you had a converging paint point. or making a triangle shape with the can holders so the caps can be right next to each other.

I joined the makers club 2 years ago. I’m originaly a graphic designer and became an 2D game artist, and did graffiti for funnies - only visual flat stuff and not very practical. But then i Got curious and visited the local makerspace 😅 the makers world and community is so large and awesome - i first falled in love with and laserprinter. It was a bit too expensive for my hobby business, so got my self a Creality as well, for doing signs, letters and such.
But learning 3D and printer tech is hard - but really rewarding as well! 😅 It creates so many fun possibilities!

Smoe, when the tool was only spraying from one can; maybe you could make that bug into a feature. So if there was an ability to toggle from one can to the other can, the user would have the two cans loaded in the tool without having to worry about climbing down a ladder, falling from a bridge, going for another can, etc. Or it could use the middle setting (both cans at the same time) and go "full coverage mode." It also could be perfect just as it is.

Du könntest vielleicht mal ausprobieren eine neue Version zu drucken in der die cans zb. Im 45* Winkel sind das die caps näher zusammen kommen würde glaub ich krass aussehen geiles Video👍🏼

great to see the creativity Smoe, I wonder if you have any thoughts on designing something similar to the nightquill which is an adaptor to help spray paint for people who suffer from joint pains and repetitive strain injury. Its a great tool which has helped an old timer like me with injurys. Although i find the tool amazing i think the way it slots on to the can could be improved or adapted... Maybe you have some ideas for future projects. Id love to know! keep it up!

Wonder if you rotate the cans inwards a bit you'd have closer lines, then you'd get that trippy look without it being too confusing.
i did some more tryouts with that tool, but if the two streams of spraypaint come too close together they start mixing in a weird way as the two streams of „wind“ become one.. but i am not done yet… there will be coming more 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Crazy idea 😂 hey Smoe, do you remember which material is it, PLA filament maybe? If so, did you sand any piece? I would like to know if you had any trouble at choosing the thickness, because I have some 3D sculptures with little details that break easily when I sand it...
i am still so super basic and starting this stuff - i did not sand anything… and I also did not have small details.. hahaha

If you used that to get a shadow on the outline that goes over the fill in that would be dope. Like black fkrbthe outline and transparent black for the shadow all at the same time!!
Yeah the needle worked much better. I think as someone said before maybe angling the cans more inwards could work better too
If you change the place of colors when you use needle caps its maybe work like auto drop shadow tool :)?

Great vid smoe . When you add a good 3D program with the printer you can make anything your mind can create. It’s amazing how far they have developed that someone at home can make real products. I hope some of your characters will be printed in the future . ✌️❤️
i am recently learning shapr3d app on ipad pro - this is perfect for designing tools, and i want to add a sculpting app gor characters as well

Hallo Smoe! Da hast Du ja ein tolles Werkzeug gedruckt. Ich fand den Effekt beim Tagging so richtig plakativ. Habt besonders nett fand ich das Detail, dass die frische rote und blaue Farbe zusammen runter gelaufen sind.
Du musst doch sicherlich alle Dosen per Hand schütteln bevor es los geht, oder? Wie wäre es mit einem Dosenhalter Einsatz für eine Akkustichsäge, damit Du die Dosen in zehn Sekunden geschüttelt hast? Muss nur stabil genug sein.

Two high pressure (tall cans) with fan caps would be insanity. One high pressure can with a fan cap gets a comparable width of the two low pressure gold cans. Very cool stuff man. I love this new direction.
