No No No it just does not work i am sure each and everyone of these youg musicians is very good in their own way, but the arrangement and the performance just does not work, over the years i have listened to this piece of music hundreds of times if not thousands of times and its a piece of music i hold very very dear to my heart, its in my top five favourite tracks, and i do like variations on a theme, but god almighty this was hard to listen too, it sounded very harsh and just did not flow and the brass section was just to over powering, i think the way the arrangement was compiled was just all wrong no not for me sorry its a could do a lot better. Have heard much better renditions than this in my humble opinion and i am sure other people will have their opinions and your welcome.

oboes are out of tune but sounds good ( i am an oboe player)
