If civ gear does not specifically state a buff for monsters does it not apply when attacking them? For example, if the buff is 30% mounted attack will that work against monsters or must if be 30% mounted attack against monsters?

It works for monsters, but if it says 30% on monster attack, it's not working for pvp
Yea mounted attack applies to monsters
mounted gear might not be fully valid if he have changed gear to hunt monsters. just saying :)
