Fix your gorpro settings so it stops panning, missing all the on track action because of it.

Did Sweet Lou know this wasn't the drift portion of the event?

It seems that everyone at the pointy end of the field is running K-Series.
Is there no way to make a B-Series competitive within the GLTC rule set?

The K is the way. Plus the K Series isn't a new engine.

      @@SturdivantRacing126 ,
I know K-Series & swaps have been around for a while. I’m just asking the question. I’m on the west coast of Canada so the chance of me getting to race a GLTC event is somewhat rare I would like to try to make getting to a GLTC event happen if possible. But my racecar is a DA Integra with a B-Series & while swapping in a K-Series is possible. It is also a large undertaking & definitely not as affordable as it once was.

@@FBTRCanada Sounds you can run, but maybe not at the sharp end

The pointy end of GLTC has had a lot of refining done over the years. Currently, the rules favor larger displacement for the added torque and potentially flatter powerband. That said, Turbo cars do get fairly significant bonuses currently as well, however few people have tried it and nobody has fully developed one for the pointy end yet. Ryan Kristoff is running a L15 in his CRX, Donald ran his Twin with FA20 and Turbo for LRP, and so forth.
To give an example, Kevin Zhu ran his K20 8th Gen Si and was solidly mid pack to low Top 10 at best. Swapped a K24 last off-season and is not podium pace.
You can very much run the car as is, however the pointy end is legitimately fast. At LRP, the Top 16 were covered by 1 second during qualifying, to give an example.
Either way, hope to see ya out there!

B seires totally can hang. But it just cost alot more to make a bseries produce the power and tq that the k can do for cheaper. But there is plenty of b series in the feild just not at tue front
