Andrew - thanks for putting this video up. I'm currently in the home buying process with a non-investor (i.e. currently occupied home, waiting on buyer's response to an offer placed at the moment) and figured I would ask, in a sellers market, on one hand you have 'the unasked question is always a no' but on the other, you don't want to ask for too much because then you get nothing in return. As an example, we are providing asking price but are asking for two items (an outdoor table/chair set and their stainless steel fridge) as well as a contribution towards closing costs. With our offer, our realtor provided notification that we are already pre-approved for $100k over the listing price using a conventional loan. As i said before, this is in a seller's market with no competing offers that we have been advised about, with the home being on the market for 11 days. Was it too daring to ask for those items? I have no problem negotiating but figured the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Lastly, thank you for your contribution to the TH-cam community and for your service - Semper Fi!
