Reveal Clinical Case 3: Discover fractures in a PA chest X ray

This video describes some of the clinical value of images taken using KA Imaging’s Reveal, a world-first portable dual energy X-ray device. The images were obtained in a clinical study carried out at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Canada. Unlike conventional dual energy X-ray solutions that require two X-ray exposures and suffer from problematic motion artifacts, KA Imaging’s Reveal uses only a single X-ray exposure at typical chest X-ray energies to generate three images simultaneously: a conventional digital chest X-ra y, a soft tissue X-ray image and a bone X-ray image. Single X-ray exposure image acquisition makes images generated by the Reveal device completely free of motion artifacts and also makes Reveal a suitable device to rapidly convert any conventional fixed, mobile or portable X-ray installation into a high quality dual energy X-ray imaging solution.
