Geoff just started doing his own videos just for fun during the 2020 lockdown. The first video was The Bare Necessities. He led me to VoicePlay, and VoicePlay led me to Patty Cake Productions owned by VoicePlay beatboxer Layne Stein and past VoicePlay member Tony Wakim. VoicePlay and Geoff are my favorite acapella group and bass singer.
First, thanx for watching the outro, I know TH-cam counts those things.... that's why I stay to the end of your reactions, too. The thing that's more amazing than his voice is that he arranged, produced, edited and filmed it all. All of the voices were him, most of the decorations, at least half, were his. Halloween is his favorite holiday. I love every voice in Voiceplay, if they were doing solos I'd subscribe to them. But I found Geoff first. I will always be here for Geoff and Voiceplay!
I enjoyed your reaction so much. Geoff is truly magical. Give a listen to the Oogie Boogie Man by Voiceplay, or for something different, fall in love wiith their cover of Nothing Else Matters. They are all fabulously talented.
Last year, Voiceplay did a Halloween one called, Ding Dong, I think, with a ghost bride. It's awesome! You'll really enjoy that one! Please give a listen as VP are the absolute MASTERS of Halloween! Thank you for your fun reaction dear sir! 😊❤
About the same time as Voice Play released their version of Hide and Seek ft. Lauren, The Bass Gang released their version, also with her. They have very different takes, but both are awesome.
Oh yeah, you can't go wrong with Geoff or Voiceplay. Especially around halloween, they go all out. Geoff often uses the Pattycake Productions studio space owned by Layne & Tony (who is a former Voiceplay member) and their props and costumes, Eli will do his lights sometimes, etc so even on his solo channel there's sprinkes of VP in there at times lol. Voiceplay have done three other songs from Nightmare Before Christmas on their channel as well from previous halloweens. This is Halloween, Oogie Boogie's Song (Geoff in lead), and Kidnap Mr Sandy Claws. Also Geoff's previous Halloween vids are definitely not to be missed. Definitely worth checking out - but you can't go wrong wherever you check on either channel.
With Geoff's name the double c sounds like a "ch". That follows for most Italian based names cc - ch. Oh yes he is amazing. He did a Halloween song last year too.
It's too bad you've never seen Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas - for me, it's an enjoyable little fable combing both Halloween and Christmas stories into a single tale, and the animation (stop-motion, which means it takes a LOT of effort to film a single scene) is top notch. This song, along with a bunch of the VoicePlay Halloween songs (What's This?, This Is Halloween, Kidnap the Sandy Claws, and Oogie Boogie's Song) won't have nearly the impact that they would if you were familiar with the movie. I'm sure they're still enjoyable, but a lot of the subtleties of what you're seeing and hearing will go right over your head. If you have the time and access, I'd recommend watching it at least once just to become familiar with the songs and characters you'll see in those videos.
Geoff's last name ends in chee, the other c is silent. I think it is as good as you think it is. I loved seeing his wife, Kathy, animating Zero, Jack's ghost dog.

Many of us are very impressed that Geoff is so very talented, but that he is truly a nice person as well.
I totally love this! Geoff is a wonderful actor as well as singer. I love how he can go really high and then drop down to the earth's core in no time!
I don't recall who said it, but, the description "He climbs Everest, just to swan dive to the bottom of the Marianas." fits SOOO well.

Geoff and Voiceplay can do no wrong. Great Reaction enjoy your new rabbit hole.
Watching the Nightmare before Christmas is a must. Incredible music by Danny Elfman, wonderful and quirky stop motion capture video are fantastic.
It's just amazing that ALL of these vocals were done by Geoff only. Phenomenal talent!

Geoff's last name ends in "loo-chi", not "loo-see".
