This show has the most realistic potrayal of sibling dynamics because siblings really can go from loving and supportive to wanting to fight each other to the death in seconds.
My initial impression of these two was that they were either none identical twins, or we’re about the same age, not biological brothers and we’re just adopted by Kettle. I’m aware he could be their grandpa, and is their guardian because they’re parents either died or couldn’t take care for some reason. But they’re mugs and he is teapot or kettle. Then again, who really knows what logic does and doesn’t apply in this world.
In the books, it's revealed that Cuphead is the older sibling. So it's more likely they're biological siblings but were abandoned by their parents. Who knows I'm just taking a silly ha ha show seriously
I've seen a lot of people complaining about their bickering but, as someone with an older sibling, I'm telling you that the way they interact is very accurate. I mean, my sister and I can hardly go through every other day without arguing or at least annoying each other and we don't always get along. XD But that doesn't stop us from loving each other. ^^
