Ok so when I first heard this song, I thought it was pretty fun. Light and upbeat, easy to jam to.
And then I heard it a second time on the album.
Oh. My. God.
This is just pure happiness distilled into a song. This song can cure depression. I haven't felt so high on music in a very long time. Such a serotonin boost!
I damn near jumped out of my chair because I was pumped so full of positive emotions.
And the little references to their previous songs Goosebumps and Beautiful Beautiful!
The entire album is honestly one of the best this year. Easy top 10, maybe even top 5.

2:52 U is also the stage name of their maknae (the Japanese member who stayed behind btw) and Wyatt also wrote grateful lyrics towards him in their side track called “Be Here Now”, so it’s likely that he was referring to their member U in “Love Effect” as well ☺️
So happy to have ONF back! I missed their unique poppy sound so much! They make me smile! And this song is so them and I love that it's in keeping with their musical output so far! So Love effect is great, but there's another gem in the album : "Arrival"! I definitely recomend listening to it :! :)

This song is so joyful and happy. I just love it and love to have them back. I fell in love for them a few years ago when they were on Road to Kingdom and they have been my ult group ever since.

Another fun layer to Wyatt's eclipse line is that their Maknae is called U (stage name) he's japanese so he didn't enlist and that's them reuniting ^^
They have some call-backs to their other songs and had also some hints to the storyline e.g. in the teaser, but overall this MV feels way less cinemtaic and feels more like a wholesome summer trip, so I don't even want to overinterpret it (their last 'happy summer' bop Popping had a dark MV, so I'm enjoying the fun MV this time lol) :3
I know you're busy af with reactions & life, but if you ever get around to it I'd rec to check out a cinemtaic ONF MV, e.g. Why (a whole movie!) or Beautiful Beautiful (less intense but still great MVs: Sukhumvit Swimming, We must love)
