Slight update from "My Name Is" is that J-Us and MK have stopped using stage names and are using their real names now. Seungjun and Minkyun, respectively. Also, the S Club 7 reference is everything to me lol.
Oh I did not know that....did they do that after the military?

Not gonna lie but sukhumvit swimming has been in my top 5 most listened to songs on Spotify for years now, like I love the song so much

I love "Ugly Dance". It's iconic. Them saying that they don't want to be typical idols who are sexy or perfect. They want to be themselves and invite their fans to also be themselves so we can all have fun together. MK (Minkyun) is my main bias in the group, but I love them all. I just really love his voice and personality.
The thing about Wyatt. He's my Ult, so I want people to love him even more.
He's fluent in English, was studying abroad in Kazakhstan (I'm from there). He often does lives where he gives advice to everyone in Korean and English. Sometimes can even educate people if they say something offending. He's in general ONF spokesperson when it comes to international fans. Supports LGBTQ+ (respects pronouns)
Despite being main rapper he has very soft singing voice. You'll hear it in Your song, for example.
Sukhumvit is a district in Bangkok Thailand. It's kinda the go-to place for tourists in Bangkok.
their music it self is very unique. they use a lot of synths and futuristic sounds that aren't as experimental as NCT, for example, but still very different and these sounds make their ONF identity

What I love about ONF is how they execute their songs whether its a bright or edgy song, they will deliver it excellently. Maybe because all them are great vocalists even Wyatt. They have good title tracks and I like all of them but for me the bsides always give me the feels.
I can’t express in words how much I love this band! They are so unique! There are so many side songs you need to explore - Original, Yayaya, Fly me to the Moon, Dry Ice, New World, Goosebumps, their Immortal Songs, This time is Over - Their VOCALS !!! ❤❤❤

Beautiful Beautiful and Popping are like, some of the BEST songs to play on the highway with your car windows rolled down I love them both! The S Club reference took me out because YES!

thank you so much for reacting to onf! to me personally, they have one of the best and most consistent discographies in kpop. and i've been into kpop for nearly a decade so i'm not saying that lightly. they're just such an incredibly special group.
Sukhumvit Swimming it's literally the best song ever made, when this song drop for the first time it got me on my feet I love this song so much I can't even explain, all ONF's songs get me in some ways that I can't even explain.
All of these songs are really good, I repeated popping so much 😭 it's so good and the MV being weird on the contrary of the song ... I love it ❤
Loving the ONF reactions! I feel like they have such a unique sound in Kpop and I love it! They never miss with their vocals and after 6 or so years I only kind of get the lore. I still love watching their MVs though. Also I will never be able to unhear S Club 7 when I listen to Poppin, but the vibe still kinda fits with ONF 😅

They are so underrated and deserve to be known by more people. Not only do they consistently deliver high-quality music and performances, but they also have a special kind of dedication and consistency. My Name Is was written before Minhyun (MK) and Seungjun (J-Us) stopped using their stage names.
All such bops. Yeah Ugly Dance was for the repackage of Beautiful Beautiful's album but I kinda love that it's just a performance MV cause all those cuts are awesome. In their next set of MV's Goosebumps was the last they did before enlistment (first group to have all KR members enlist at same time together) and then Our Song came out while they were enlisted so all pre filmed MV, so no promotions really for that song but U did his best to push it since he was alone as the only non-korean. Love Effect was their first release after members are back and now Bye My Monster is their latest release. So excited for their North American tour cause they are so good live.
Popping was one of my absolute top favorite songs of 2021 it's just a great song with great summer vibes it always brings me joy! ❤ also that album with it was SO GOOD! Dry ice had everyone on a chokehold
I dk how to pronounce Sukhumvit either but in the song it sounds like they are saying Stupid Swimming so I just call it that 😂 its also my favorite ONF song.
I had listened to their songs before getting into them, but after watching Road to Kingdom, fell in love with this group and a FUSE ever since. Wyatt and E-tion's reactions on that show were a whole set of memes. Any of those performances would be great to see with you. I always feel like the MV/storyline makes me cry but the songs make me so happy

I soooo agree with what you said about Wyatt’s (killing) parts lol. For half of ONF’s discography Wyatt’s parts have been my favorite ones lmao (he’s not even my bias) - he’s such a versatile artist, both in rapping and singing, and can adapt so easily depending on the vibe of the song it’s insane. Him being the sole member with such a deep voice, it would be hard to keep the ONF signature sound without him around since his parts contribute a lot in it imo. Btw the next title track “Goosebumps” has one of my favorite Wyatt parts and also my favorite shot (owned by Wyatt) of all of ONF’s MVs sksjxk

About the specific sound of ONF: I really do get it, even if I can't pinpoint what exactly it is. But they have something which makes you always recognise them (next to their special voice tones). If you'd listen to a random kpop playlist and a song by ONF would be played, you would immediately know it's them, even if you haven't heard the song before.
It's actually easy to recognize them because of their unique vocals that diff with each other.
if ONF debuted under a bigger, more known company, they'd be very very famous by now

But tbh I'm in love with all of their songs, I listen to their music on repeat and I'm not even their best fan, I never know what's going on in their music videos and the only thing I know about the members are their names and that they sing amazing live 😭 But I'll spend a day studying their lore and getting more into them when I have time, because I know they are potential ults

An interesting fact about Sukhumvit Swimming is that they used it as a metaphor for "finding paradise" with Sukhumvit being the "paradise"... But clearly, what's happening is the opposite of paradise because everything is in chaos.

In My Name mv, Minkyun (mk) is holding a bottle of cat food, which looks like it is the actual bottle he keeps in the office. He goes ard feeding the neighbourhood cats. I saw someone jokingly commented in Korean once that the cats ard their office looked very well fed.
