Gosh, those hotel stories are the worst! (In a positive way!) I get the creeps hearing that... I never experienced a ghost or something like that, but I sometimes reside in hotels (like many other people), so I feel way more uncomfortable, when I listen to those stories. XD

I've never been to Ixtapa before but i used to work at a Mexican restaurant where two of the really popular dishes were called "Carne Ixtapa" and "Pollo Ixtapa." Nice to know where they were likely to have been named after!
Number two: I bet my life on it; you were most likely drugged with some sort of benzodiazepine (tranquilizer) hence why he asked if the food was delicious, and hence why he stayed there probably seeing if it was taking effect or not. Benzos are common date rape/incapacitation drugs and missing time (sometimes days depending on the drug) with certain benzos you feel lucid and sober, though you're actually very fucked up. Its not uncommon for hours, days passing with feeling like its been minutes. Especially to the inexperienced victim/user. Just a thought from an ex user.
That would be valid if the other people hadn't said they were missing. Plus it takes much longer than that to eat a meal at a restaurant.
I honestly would've guessed someone maybe stranger or creeper snuck in and changed the time on the clock..

In the second story my theory as to what happened to the person is that the waiter put something into the food, some sort of drug, and that's why he was staring. He was interested in seeing how the person ate the food with the drugs in it. It was a bad drug trip. The waiter put drugs into the food and watched with anticipation the customer eat the food.
I mean like, is the gondola doesnt have a security or something ? Like the hotel didnt think that something might happen during the gondola section or something ?
