- The pirates of Umbar are known for their great raids against Gondor. But instead of raiding their lands, they now get read to capture and board a Gondorian Ship. Gondor is heavily out numbered, and must use strategic defenses to win this navel battle. Enjoy the Battle :D

Ok here's an idea. Since the Third Age Reforged team gets a lot of fighting, they could come up with continuity scenarios in which the outcome of a battle would have an effect on the next one and then at the next one, like a rpg board game. Each player could choose one faction and the first scenarios would derermine alliances, bonuses etc ending up to an epic battle. For example "this" battle would determine if Harad would team up with Mordor in the next scenario or not. A simple battle-tree could work.

The Pirates deserve to win. Gondor made too many mistakes and was behind the entire game.
Yeah often I feel the defenders are on the back foot (but they're meant to be) but when the defenders make one mistake or lose one unit it's almost guaranteed GG

Tips for Future Good Defenders:
1. Please Win.
2. Trebuchet Friendly Fire in the last stand is too risky, as it opens holes in your very critical defenses, (literally for the defenders.)
3. Javelins and Archers are priority when they are grouped up with artillery when in Final Stand.

How about a giant siege with a Orc fortress defending against a small army of Dead Men of Dunharrow? The attackers are few in numbers but the defenders will need every man they got to fell the ghostly force.
And the fortress is actually on a boat! GENIUS!
sander heutink Surprised they don't have a naval mod actually. But then again it would be taking the battles and limiting them to a boat...so yeah.
After a lot of rome II and atilla with the zoom, dissapear soldier stuff, I was surprised again how nice the units in this third age mod look, amazing!

I feel like that was a pretty shoddy last defense, but at such a disadvantage the defenders must've been feeling a lot of pressure. Not that I don't mind the occasional one-sided victory (well, not VERY one sided, but not down to the wire either). Great fight anyway, props to all players involved!
I thought about this battle as a boarding action in Battlefleet Gothic. The cathedral on a ship helped. And it was well good.
Gondor should have had a few more troops. Keep it up apollo!

I once had a trebuchet fire straight into the air and the projectiles took some 30 seconds to reach it target.
