    Dope!
    Just started laying down techno on two of those and I am absolutely
    happy with them! Sure they are no sl1200´s but the prize is awesome! :-)

    This is really cool! Well done! Could've fooled me that you are new to this 😂. I have been looking at that model just as a record player but as a drummer I'm really curious about scratching. Would you say these hold up as far as mixing and scratching goes?

    • @OneSquidOneBike
      @OneSquidOneBike  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man! They hold up pretty well as long as your system is calibrated properly and you have some good needles. I'm going to upload new video scratching within the next 2 weeks

    what mixer do you use? I'm getting into Music production, but cant find People explaining everything they use, so I'm learning this slowly.

    very nice bro!! i have two questions,did you have issues with the needles? like skipping the vinyl when you're scratching..i recently bought a lp120usb in black..and the needle really skips. And the other question..jwhich are the differences you see between serato vinyl and a normal vinyl? Thank you bro,from argentina.

    • @OneSquidOneBike
      @OneSquidOneBike  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What's up brother. Yes! I had issues all day. I even upgraded my needles and I still had issues sometimes. The Serato vinyl uses timecode. Its what allows the turntable to connect to the computer. Your turn table can play regular 12" vinyl but I don't think Serato will recognize that.

      I recently purchased a set of Pioneer PLX 1000. The difference is night and day. Sub to my channel. I'll be uploading a video soon.

      @@OneSquidOneBike i've already subscribe bro! You have instagram?..cool,what type of needle would you recommend to get a better scratching and less skipping?..and one more,the skipping its the same in a serato vinyl and a normal one? Thanks!

      @@chino.9.1 thanks ! I have an Instagram, but it's deactivated right now. I upgraded my needles to Ortofon OM Pro S. They are for mixing and scratching. They helped with the skipping a little. For your second question , I'm not sure if the skipping would be the same on normal vinyl records. I've only played the Serato Vinyls.

    This was dope! What mixer do you use? And you think the lp120x is also good for DJing?

    • @OneSquidOneBike
      @OneSquidOneBike  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks ! It’s a Mixars Duo II mixer . The lp-120s are good if you want to learn how to mix on tables (because they are so cheap), however they have a huge delay in them . They aren’t built for mixing. I have 2 pioneer PLX -1000s now and they are night and day difference (in cost and performance lol). I’ll be uploading a video of me DJ-ing with my new tables this week . So again, if you’re looking for a beginners turn table system , the LP-120s are fine. Stay tuned and thanks for watching !

    • @OneSquidOneBike
      @OneSquidOneBike  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had all kind of issues when I first started LOL. However I don't believe slow start ups were one. Google and TH-cam are your friend. They helped me with all of my issues. Good luck !
