I recommend getting a water pic since it’s hard to use floss your teeth will hurt a lot the first week so make sure you have medicine ready I recommend if the medication isn’t working you massage your gums it helps a lot!
The only time you should worry is when you’re eating something that you’re not supposed to like chips popcorn and hard and sticky stuff I actually broke a bracket from eating chips

Water flosser can't replace dental floss because thread actually scraps off plaques more efficiently. You have to floss with thread but can combine with water flosser
