Burnout Bobby is the truth , true he will save you the time but not the $$, 20k build isn't saving $$ do it yourself for 10k. At least that's my mindset, I call it being self sufficient. And it's something about building it yourself, when you're riding and people are looking like wow, it's a different feeling..
I agree! Building something on your own, definitely gives you the satisfaction of accomplishment. However, we all don’t have the knowledge, patience ,time, or tools, so why not hire someone to do a build for you? Especially, if you can hire someone, who definitely knows how to do a custom build on a Ruckus? In my opinion, this saved time, money and lots of headaches, since there’s a lot of videos on TH-cam,that show “do it yourself” having issues with their builds. Again, nothing wrong with doing your own build. I just prefer having a Ruckus professionally built with no issues. How did you come up with $20k for a build? My total build was less than $7k. This included labor, mostly all new parts, powder coat, etc. plus an additional $1,500 to ship this bike to/from Oregon to Florida. Less than $10k. Now do you see why I had this done by other? With this being said, would you have done the same?
