Seen her live and I was a first time live guy seeing her about 2 yrs ago. It is so cool to see newbies that don't know here music, hear up to the first 22:00 min mark of the performance. Then, she does her thing and those newbies are like, holy shitake!!! Sneaky I tell you. She is badass. Watch that part and she is only getting started. Then go see her live.

Samantha is star material for sure. She's done it through......pretty much just hard work. If you want to see a perfect example of the 'American Dream ' (pun intended), just watch Sam Fish! She's been working on her singing,( notice the tremelo in her voice ) she's sung these songs so many times that they're now perfect! In my opinion she's the female Stevie Ray of guitar. She's pretty much created her own genre of music, invented her own route to stardom; she's an original!
And......(I met her in person, and she's 100% solid. And a nice person. And pretty ). I'm so proud of her!

A good friend of mine and his band opened for her about 3 years ago. He's a great guitarist in his own right. I had to miss the show because I work in a hospital. Major bummer! He said she was very gracious and friendly with him and his wife. Maybe I'll catch her next time she's in the neighborhood.
It confuses me beyond description, that the Pop & Hip Hop queens of today can in any way be seen in the same light as talent like Samantha Fish. PS: I'm 64 years old and grew up in The San Francico Bay Area.

samantha may be the 1st artist to circumvent the mass media/clear channel and go right to the masses through Utube. We need official live dvd releases! We need Tom Dowd or someone like him as the producer! One shot on Jimmy Fallon or Saturday Night Live and she will be famous. I have been a fan for years since I came across her doing RL Burnside covers. She blew my mind then and she still blows my mind!

She would blow a hole in 30 Rock (SNL's space) like nobody in the last 30 years! The audience would be lost for the rest of the show! It would be devastating. Would definitely watch.

Dear Kriss Lloyd, Sam and her band sounds nothing like Amy Winehouse, her style is uniquely hers and as for you "NOT LIKING IT" no one cares what you like or not. The music she plays is great. I got hooked listening to Luisianna Rain. I hope she continues for many years making great sounds.

Wow, Samantha learned to sing! however, playing some shit poppin. Used to meow instead of singing, but played good music. In short, so on so and is obtained... :)
She should sing in her own voice, and stop trying to sound black. Also her guitar tones are the Pitts, some of the worst I've heard. She would sound much better playing a Stratocaster.She's a great talent, but needs to polish her act to attain legendary status.😋✌
She had a better sound when she played a Telecaster.
The Garlic Farm ..yes..from my experience, you can't beat a Stratocaster through a Fender amp of some sort, plus a very small amount of overdrive, so as to bring the tone to just the brink of distortion.😀✌😋
I don't think she knows what kind of sound she wants to make. She played five different guitars in this show. I agree with you, a Strat played through Hot Rod Deluxe sounds awesome. Lately, I've been into the twang of a Telecaster that I've been playing through a Mesa Boogie Lonestar. There are dozens of great guitars to choose from. I refuse to say bad things about any of them.
