Samantha Fish is such a good entertainer, she's an inspiration and excellent role model for all female guitarists/performers coming up. It's so good to see a woman who really can rock it.
Great big sound , different from the trio.shows the great ness in ur song arrangements amazing!! Ms fish can't help being blown away by ur musicianship! Lord have mercy..Guys and girls take notice of true homegrown badassness.whata role model for girl giutar players out there original style with a sting!!great chordsmanship almost seems like musical training of some sort has been studied u play so smooth and complexed awesome I'm mesmorized with every performance very talented .Ms fish how great u r truly blessed.

Much better - the large band is better integrated, SF's great guitar licks get more prominence, and her vocals are improving. I still prefer the raw blues sound of the 3 piece band, but the large band works really well for the more R&B tunes. SF can really lay it down on guitar - notice the hammering on she did on one tune, maintaining the guitar line without the right hand - virtuoso!
Songs like "Never Gonna Cry" let her voice shine best...As a matter of fact; as well as she played; she didn't even need to play the guitar solo on the end of this- an ending showcasing a vocal that rips your heart out would be even better...My inner producer says; I could see her doing an entire show with a Big Band backing her and doing tons of emotional 50's style ballads....Just play guitar a little bit for flavor, But do a real classy type thing sans the grungy thangs. I know the blues festys like that stuff but, I'm telling you she's a soul ballad belter, with a country twang instead of a fake sounding put on blues growl. Much respect to her for not going that route.
History repeats itself, Janis started off simple & went down hill with what became a bigger & bigger band, sadly Samantha appears to be on the same musical path. The flute in American dream is a perfect example of more is not always better. Samantha, you ARE a star & you SHINE brighter with less.....
The really sweet gig, if you can get it, is to be a RETIRED stadium act, that has all the money it will ever need, and can fill any intimate venue whenever they feel like it. I may miss Sam's small venue days, but they'll be back some decade.

It was probably 50° when she hit the stage but as soon as her guitar got warm she got hot...What a hell of a performance and performer
