- I use fSpy to line up the virtual camera in Blender with the position, angle and focal length of my real camera.
fSpy is free!
fSpy is the easiest way to quickly integrate CGI objects into your live action scene.
This will only work for static shots.

Yo, that one tip for moving the gizmo to the floor was LEGEND. I've watched a few of these, and literally none of them ever say to move this to the floor; this saved me so much time in fixing it within blender. Thank you!
Thank you very much! You saved my life! Took a little while to understand the logic of the axis on my particular project but I got it working. Earned yourself a subscriber and a lof respect! Cheers!
doesn't work version 3.4
How do i use it for moving footage?
Geo tracker
You can just screenshot the first frame, and use that
do u know why i can not get shadows on the scene ? thank you very much
Straight to the point 🎉🎉
Great , Blender jobs using fspy can be exported to Unrealengine 5 ?
Went all the way back to Blender 3.2.2 and it doesn't work in that either.
Have a quick question my projection works but is semi transparent similar to how the fspy app looks
If your talking about your camera footage being transparent u can go into the camera and go to where u have your background video and move the opacity all the way up to 1 and should fix that
@@Cracks3DWorld thanks I'll give that a try
not working in 3.4, 3.6 and 4.0
I use the 3.5 and it works
how the object move behind your hand in the video? is it a mask?
Exactly what I needed, thank you.
did you import the picture Fspy or the video? or both?
How do I adjust the Z-Axis? Does it only come with 2 vanishing points?
Nevermind I figured it out^^
Short and sweet, thank you!
the lighting, how did you handle the lighting?
.
I just used a basic Nishita sky texture within blender for my hdri, increasing the ozone to make the sky blue like it was in my real shot. I rotated the sun position around to where it was in my shot and then used a couple of 3D planes to simply cover up the sun based on the position of my fence and side of my house. I hid the planes from camera view so they wouldn't show up in the render but kept the shadows on the chair model to look like it was really there in the real shot. I hope this helps :)
Anyone having trouble install the fspy add-on, try installing the add-on with this method (manual blender add-on install method)
how do you zoom in fspy in mac?
not working for my version 4.1
not working on blender 4.0?
What blender version are you using the addon doesn't install
same, using 3.5, it installs, but doesn't show up in the import menu or preferences.
