I have this same sight pusher, handy tool in my experience. Used it a couple dozen times just free handed and no issues. But it is nice you can mount it if need be. 😎🇺🇸
Nice Review. I suspect your slide is in the 1% that do not fit. The Value is clear on this. How many sights will a hobby level gun smith push ? The gun smith brands are better. But The Value is not. Gavin from Ultmate Reloader did a series on a new Lee Loadmaster. Yes, Lee has a lot of plastic parts for those of you about to type that. He loaded 200 rounds without issue. Shot 2" groups at 25 yards. Got an 8 Fps Standard Deviation on his velocity. All of this using a press that cannot hold tollerances, jams up constantly, has a lot of plastic parts for those typing, has a crappy Lee Powder Measure with those stupid disks, etc. Some times we get so off in the weeds we forget what we are doing.
Instead of cutting the bottom off, why not cut out the lower T shaped section within the tool. Then you only need to add longer or shorter all threads to raise or lower the platform.
Never seen a bench with slide holes for bolts. Will just use a vise. Thanks for the review.
T-slots (aka T-track) comes in quite handy, especially when things are too big/heavy for a vise.
Great tool.....I own the same one.....I've done over a dozen sights with it.....
you made a 26 minute video and cut out the only part people wanted to see.....
Ryan Copeland - it’s a special skill that took a lifetime to develop that few have or can understand!

Can’t you just chuck the base in a vise instead of using the T slots?
yes, you absolutely can. But my vise is bolted to an area of my bench that I'd prefer not to do detailed work as it's a bit cramped space wise.

No disagreement there. Didn't even think about the slide not fitting when deciding on purchasing this. Solid tool regardless IMO.
Good points, I have a Lyman 8 and everything else is Lee.

J G - that’s an idea...besides I’ve been thinking about getting a band saw for a LONG time :-)
Great tool
Nice review.
