Geez Dan I complain about the cold and wet weather that we get in Scotland, I know you will be used to it but I don’t fancy rattlesnakes. We have adders that go about the heather and heathland but normally they will get away out of your road, I was tipping LNG (liquid natural gas) one day at Spadeadam when an adder casually went past me at the back of the tank. The man that was overseeing the unloading told me that it won’t bother you if you just ignore it, he was right. Fantastic videos Dan, keep them coming. Kind regards from Scotland. Johnny
At least you’re keeping a good attitude thru these weird times we are all living in. Enjoy the videos!!! Good for Teresa keeping the hired help fed. That looked delicious! Y’all take care👍✌️
Well Dan, at least you are getting some of those projects down around the house/property and looks like you are enjoying it without having to rush around due to limit time off being at the house. Boy howdy, the chicken dinner looked good and bless Teresa too taking great care of you. Both of you take care and stay safe! 😀🤠👍👌
Thanks Dan. You are Blessed. T is great. Like the way you stay busy. Want to tell you again how much I appreciate the videos. At 80 years old, I am faithful to keep to the shelter in place guidelines and your videos are a great help. Anxious to see when you start working on the old Pete. Stay safe.
I am really enjoying your stay-at-home series. You have an awesome homestead......well done. I love how you are always keeping busy and no task is too big or small for you.
Dan we spend time in the winter in Tombstone, but have never seen it green like it is in your videos. Wish we could see your area now. Ate breakfast three times in the restaurant you recommended. Really Good!!!
I'm still loving the vlogs even though your not in your truck spinning wheels. haha. It's nice to see a side of you and your lovely wife that we wouldn't otherwise see. Very cool. Looks like you have a good life at home. 👍👍
You truly are inspirational and set such a great example for others to follow. You seem to just keep rolling with the flow and finding some positive in everything. All while most of our nation is coping with the uncertainty and its hard to stay upbeat. I tip my hat to you and your wife, NICE.
Hi Dan. Been following you and your videos now for a few years. I really enjoy watching, Thank you!!! If you have time, I would like to see a video on what video editing software you use. Thank you and enjoy your much earned vacation!!!!
Morning Dan. So glad your making these videos as your a great guy 👍🏻 When you said you killed the snakes 🐍 I was sad 😞 But when it was only rattle snakes then I suppose that's ok as there nasty little things any way 🤣 Keep the videos coming cheers Stevie 😎🇬🇧
👍 one thumbs down?? That guy must've hit the wrong button. Looks just like Artesia NM. Worked there for 2 yrs awhile ago. Shout out from the panhandle of Florida Dan!
Thank you for the vlogs Dan..I hope your lock down living is going well its always good to see you take care stay safe everyone and big hello to Teresa and Jazzy..
Dan, take my advise on hydraulic hoses, replace them if they need replacing. I had one that needed replacing but I kept putting it off. When it blew it makes a mess not to mention the 5 gal. of hydraulic oil.
When this is all over you won't get a minutes rest, Dan. Everyone will want to be shifting everything. Good to see you just doing a bit and taking it easy round the place.
Some would call it chicken vegetable rice bake. After a long day of yard work others might call it two delicious ice cold beers and...... good filler. Stay Safe.
Had my hopes up for a second when you were pointing to that good ol’ 379, and in another video you said you’re thinking about getting it back on the road. 🤤. Be well Dan.
i have a set of forks like yours but i added a spreader bar so they stay together better how many acres do you have to take care of see that you have a few attachments for the tractor
At last we get a glimpse of Theresa. Dan you must let her know she is family now. We subscribers hear so much about Theresa like she is a doll in a cabinet. Obviously she is camera shy but she can say hello close up.
Dan, great videos as always.I'm been with you for years on your travels. I have a question. With your new outdoor shower and food and beer at the backdoor. Is there more to this story? Is this a new way to get the honey-do list done before you can go inside. Just asking.
The property around mine is grass seed fields. Two of my fences are set back 6' from the property line and on the back fence I have an agreement with owner that I can maintain outside of fence since they do not farm that close anyway and part of it is willow trees and have to be trimmed back away from electric fence every couple years or they droop down and short it out. Maybe you could get permission to mow around the outside of the fence with tractor so it kills the snakes.and you can see any that survived. You need a pair of snake chaps/gaiters. If you get bit on the leg and you survive you could be looking at one year to recover and rehab.
I don’t know why you don’t have more shade structures living out there in the desert? Over the years I wouldn’t build larger shade structures to set my trucks and tractors and someone up under
How about working on the truck some...like changing the differential oil, new brake fluid, transmission fluid, clean and service the 5th wheel, etc. Inspect, inspect, inspector.
Hello Dan Doing the same thing here, trying to get caught up on things that have been put off for a long time, just wondering, do you guys have pigeons or doves living in the buildings?
I just got home from the road this morning. My Mrs. happened to walk through the room as I watched this post. Now I've a "honey-do" list of things to do in addition to my own list. I'm curious. Is your "physical distancing" being done because your concerned after being in a "high risk" area or are you just being cautious? I'm off the road for a few weeks now seeing I've stopped moving high priority freight. Fortunately the weather up here in eastern Ontario, Canada has turned really mild and conditions are favourable to do outside work...... and I don't have to contend with snakes, of any sort.👍👍👍
Great video. Teresa is a special women. You're going to gain some weight with all that good home cooking. Let's see the dog's Been a while. Watch out for those snakes. Be Safe & Be Careful
Hi Teresa. Nice to see you. Dan, without getting too personal or technical, where the heck do you poop? Also, when you're on the road, your truck does not have an onboard potty, correct? So you have to trudge to the truck stop restrooms even in the middle of the night? No wonder old men like me wouldn't make it in your business ;-)
my grandparents started a farm up on Ontario Heights, north of Ontario, Oregon. this was long before I-84 went thru their land. this was when my mom was a little girl, they were clearing sagebrush from a field, and mom must of disturbed this snake's "sunbathing" as it started chasing my mom. she said it was a blue racer. ive seen rattlesnakes, garden snakes, but never a breed of snake called a racer.
What a gal Dan. She reminds me of my wife. I have kept my wife for 43 years. It's hard to find a woman like ares anymore. Hold on to her. Your friend Shoey (Steve).
Not only would I fix the leaking hose, but I'd just replace all of them. I hate waiting for things to be hard broke before I take care of them. Because that hose is going to burst at the most inopportune time.
You talk about wind noise and traffic noise on your videos but I never hear any. Other creators have problems with wind and background noise and would benefit from your setup. I think you talked about a wireless microphone on one of your videos.
Dan, as an independent contractor you are eligible for the low/no interest loans in the C-19 stimulus bill passed by Congress. I suggested to O/O's who had high interest loans on their equipment (12-18%) they would be smart to take advantage of these loans and pay off their equipment and then have a much lower payback than current. You should check with your bank and see what they are offering...….these are SBA loans and banks are said to be eager to process them quickly. People should not take out the loans and use for gee gaws or chrome.

Maybe a little polishing and use new white mud flaps. Not those horse mats. Please ,!!!

30 HP tractor is way bigger than the old John Deere’s I drove when I was a kid.
I think I would take the chance after being on the road for awhile :)..
Take advantage of the home time Dan , you'll look back on the chore progress with satisfaction and say to yourself " Damn I did all that" Cheers mate.
Hi Teresa. Nice to see you. Dan, without getting too personal or technical, where the heck do you poop? Also, when you're on the road, your truck does not have an onboard potty, correct? Dan, do you ever start up the old Pete 379?
my grandparents started a farm up on Ontario Heights, north of Ontario, Oregon. this was long before I-84 went thru their land. this was when my mom was a little girl, they were clearing sagebrush from a field, and mom must of disturbed this snake's "sunbathing" as it started chasing my mom. she said it was a blue racer. ive seen rattlesnakes, garden snakes, but never a breed of snake called a racer.
Nice horse
Get those clippers out and go to cutting that mop top you got going on there. Lol

Oh my aching sideboards
Looks good !! Dans house for dinner. Lol
I have a john Deere like your and I got it out and charged .. ran around and it won't engage the cutting when I pull out knob. Have any suggestions.
Check the wires on the back of the switch. I think there is 5 of them. Also the wires where they go into the electric clutch.
The ''new'' Røde mic Is perfekt
great dinner. enjoy.
What is the story with the other truck? Enjoying the home videos?
She gives you beer. Lucky man.
