I bought a 2025 touring forester today and am looking forward to receiving it! Had a 2022 wilderness forester which was totaled two weeks ago and felt all the safety features worked great! I did get a fractured sternum because someone decided to turn left in front of of me! The safety features sold me on it .plus they hold their resale value very well
It’s a nice capable car! Are you going through your foresters quickly to upgrade, or have you been having problems with them? Curious as I’m interested in the forester
@@celeste-videography Honestly, we have had one issue thru our 5 Foresters - an AC compressor, under warranty. If you’re looking for a performance car, this is not it. But the 2025 is easily the most comfortable and quiet of all our previous models. Highly recommend you at least test drive one. Reliability is certainly not an issue.
Best lawnmower engine on 4 wheels absolutely. Where Subaru shines is with amazing handling which in their Crossteck model which i now have driven two is a way too much fun given the modesty of the vehicle. 2024 Crosstrek a huge improvement over previous years big time so would definitely stick with that Year and presumably go forward. Subaru definitely needs to do a complete redesign of their engines imo as they work fine flying solo but won't work once the entire Family is in tow and it's time for a Raod trip. In the meantime Honda continues to dominate in every way even Toyota now. Great reviews keeps em coming😊
As always, a great review. But several Forrester disappointments in design..the car is very functional but yhe design is weird. Rear tailights cluster is boring and small Rear turn signals still incandescent? Omg Rear exhaust only on right side? Bring back dual ! Side profile in real life, around wheel wells is out of proportion..with the rest of the car. are the wheel wells too big? Or the wheels themselves too small? The Touring Models of the Ascent and Outback have electronic folding side mirrors Does the Forrester Touring not offer them in yhe top trim?
Good review but I disagree with your opinion of the Subaru 4 wheel drive system, it is really good but data shows that the Honda/Acura IVTM4 system is the best, data doesn’t lie, thanks for your review

A fine car, indeed. Thanks for the review.
Great job & I will try to test drive this 1 day.
Picked up our new 2025 Limited yesterday - our 5th Forester since the 2010 model. Biggest improvement overall - very impressive.
Awesome SUV! Congrats! 👏

@@davehill9479 thanks so much for the insight! Glad it’s been a reliable vehicle for you. Definitely want to try test driving.
Yikes 5 since 2010…. I’m only on my second rav4 since 2010……Subaru needs a hybrid powertrain before they fall even further behind Toyota and Honda
Thanks Andrew for the informative review. I love the look of the car and the bronze color!
We just bought it and love it
Awesome SUV! Congrats! 👏

Amazing SUV! Congrats! 👏
@@goldpony Thank you!
Great review! Thankfully I don’t like driving fast so it’s perfect for me 😅

Another great review!
Great review.❤
Great review.
My Forrester has almost 100,000 miles. Would buy again.
Nice car mate
Test drove last week. Just having sticker shock right now.
FYI, the rear view mirror is digital. Love that on my Touring!
Find out yet you don’t get HOMELINK with that mirror?
how would rate the smoothness compared to a rav 4 or jeep Cherokee? i find the previous model very tight and bumpy.
3:55 around which review do you think it was where you realized cars have that slowness/good build quality inverse dynamic going on?
Should be 6" shorter in the front and 6" longer in the back.

I thought the forester 25 was going to be a hybrid. You never touched on it.
all subarus are fine
CVT ruins it for me or I would check it out.
Front is Ugly Ford Exploer design of several years ago
Instead of a 2.5 L CVT, get 2.4 manual turbocharged hilux diesel 500Nm torque same price

Cvt makes Subaru nonsense!
Too slow and too expensive.
Like your mom
Your test using the shift paddles wasn't very good. Nobody in their right mind wouldn't shift that poorly
I'm guessing you're an expert in all things
Great review!
Thank you!
