  • Super NES built into a cheap end table. Built for and donated to my employer's break room. It is what it is. Not much more to say about it.

      I'm working on 4 at the moment. I'll release them when they're done, and I'm kinda stuck on the first one, and I want them to be in chronological order, despite how crap they are. (Sorry, spoiler).

    One thing; I think you should make the controllers hardwired to the table so no one can run off with those either.

    • @vomitsaw
      @vomitsaw  8 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Funny thing, I left that place like 5 years ago and ended up working with a guy at my new job that just came from there... apparently it's still there, in one piece. I did not expect that.

    • @vomitsaw
      @vomitsaw  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a couple things I've been working on for myself that aren't all too exciting, and a few ideas that may never come to fruition. Or maybe they will? I'm not certain yet. A dump of summary videos are incoming. Long story short, I'm not sure what I'm doing with this channel going forward just yet.

    • @OfficialJab
      @OfficialJab 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you took commissions for these things (at a higher price than the parts and time is worth) you could probably make some good money! I'd sure buy one.

    • @vomitsaw
      @vomitsaw  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've crunched the numbers, I'd be getting paid less than minimum wage at the speed I work and what people would be willing to pay. It's just not worth it. :/ If this were my full-time job, I might consider it, if I could get parts of the process automated. But even still, the price of the system hardware itself has been inflating wildly over the past several years. It's complicated.

    That's really awesome. Could perhaps use theft deterrent for the controllers though. One way could be hot-gluing the plugs in place, but the downside to that would be difficulty replacing the controllers if they break.

    Dude, we need one of these for my College's break room. The most we've got in there is a gamecube, and it's not even built into a toaster or anything! Still, awesome job.
    Idea: If your allowed to bring a cameras into work, get a video of your co-workers reaction to this. Or at least a video of them playing with it.

    I'd like to see an i7 + GTX 480 in SLI built into something. I've seen all kinds of creative cases. You could make big money doing that. As some of the comments have alluded to, the Super Genintari lack TG-16, SMS, & N64. Would have been that much cooler with those in there. Mark @ Inecom Company would flip if you made a 7in1 cart system for him, check out his TH-cam channel. I know you donated to AVGN. Keep up the good work!

    For everyone who keeps asking "What about the eject button?" The eject button on the SNES was Just an afterthought by Nintendo. When I had my SNES I never used the eject button to remove my games, it was only used once by myself because i pushed it as hard as I could to see how far I could make the game fly.(It was mildly amusing, but didn't really serve much purpose other than to satisfy my curiosity) Anyway the model 2 SNES didn't have an eject button because it is not needed!

    I wanted to make something simular to that when I was little. I wanted to have 2 columbs of games maybe 10 on each side, and be able to switch between them. There was going to be a button beside each game, and when a button was pressed, it would turn on that game. Also I was going to have it ONLY allow one game to be played, at a time and switch off any that were already pressed.
    But when your 5 yrs old, and your parents don't think you can do it, they dont buy the parts for you.
    : (
