What is cool about the new measure tool is.....you can just launch the command and hover your mouse on geometry (without even picking it) to see what its measures are in a balloon tooltip. Pretty handy on day-today design tasks.
Any advice for finding the center of mass on an assembly? I can find it on a single item but on an assembly with multiple parts I can’t seem to get the center of mass
@@ClassASurfacing thank you. We actually upgraded to 1847. With that, after I select my points, zoom in and click apply. Then the font if larger. Only downside is that it disappears behind the part if the dimensions tons behind it.
Go to preferences, PMI, lettering make your font and size adjustments click the apply to all text icon then click apply or okay to exit the preferences tab. This will change PMI and future measurement text.
I found that if you select the two objects using the object radio button. Then select the vector radio button, then pick the vector it will give you the projected dimension. Hope that answers your question.

Thank you
can you make a download for this model for us to recreate your examples?
Is there a way to change the font size of the measurements? I print the drawings, and the text is really difficult to see.
Not easily.
You would need to change your computers default font. And that would change everything.

@@mikemiller5669 You can change the part visibility to see though. But yes, it is irritating.
