  • @Kaocyde

    Samuel L Jackson is generally casual with actors he's worked with. Calling them by their first name, or a shortened nicknames. He can do this, because they're his co-workers, they're his peers.
    He didn't say "Chris". He didn't say "Christopher". He called him "Mister Lee".
    That is everything you need to know about respect.

    • @savagegtalks5912
      @savagegtalks5912 3 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      Mr. Lee like some random nudle dude at the street corner.
      To show respect would be to say his name after the Queen, Sir Christopher Lee. Remember the "Sir" part is important. If you was to show respect and not disrespect. Kids today can't even notice the casual disrespect being shown.

      Crazy enough, there IS a Tarkin cameo. At the end of Revenge, you see a man walk up to the Emperor and Vader as they're looking at the construction of the Death Star. That's supposed to be Tarkin. What sucks is they had for that shot him played by a man named Wayne Pygram, aka Scorpius on Farscape. Christopher Lee was a living legend. A true gentleman from a different age of actors. The fact he stayed relevant and wasn't afraid to get immersed more modern cult roles says a lot about the type of person he was (he even provided lead vocals on various metal songs). The way Samuel L Jackson talks about him, you can see he revered the man.

    Jackson's right. Christopher Lee was the actor that made Star Wars what it needed to be. Lord of the Rings was also perfect enough to live by because of him. And the Hobbit? It's a giant reboot of Christopher's legend. I'd call it a giant "Thank you" from Christopher Lee himself to every LOTR viewer who ever experienced Peter Jackson's masterpiece. He and Peter Cushing were a legendary duet. And Rogue One? With Peter Cushing's reanimated image? Motion capture has so much to offer to movie entertainment. I hope Christopher Lee receives the same honour someday, even in his death.
    If Peter Cushing could, why couldn't Christopher Lee?
