Best episode to-date. I have not listened to all your episodes, but from the ones I’ve listened to, this was by far the most informative. She had detailed science based answers to all your questions. Loved every minute of this podcast. Thanks.
Absoulute classic - thank you so much Tad & Wendy - p.s. I have heard that supplying Si in flowering strenghthens tricomes ! I have used it in flowering with zero negative effects.
Great episode. My first crop I ran a MSA and had good results. I didn’t put it in my second and my stems felt more fragile, and the plant stressed easier than previous run. Anecdotal, but adding it back in next run.
This episode was a very informative gem on an apparently under rated element. I have only ever heard heavy emphasis on Si supplementation in the Bio dynamic gardening literature I've read. Most articles/ books say the presence of Si was hi enough to not see a deficiency.
lol I'm doing my best! It takes a lot of work to find the right guests, have them agree to come on the show, and then find a time in our schedules that lines up.
Very informative with real experts in their field, just like the Bio-char episode. Thank You
Thanks for taking the time.

Fantastic information. Great job on preparation, your questions yielded useful responses.
Thank you so much!!! Bravo! I just eat this all up!
Always chew before you swallow 😉 the mainstream education system has A LOT of limitations

Also curious why manufactures of liquid MSA typically recommend cutting it out around week 3 of flower. Is their some effect on the flower? Thanks.

@@Oaxacaerw Following up since its been a year, I've heard multiple growers say it effects the taste of the flower.

It sounds like adding DE to compost is a viable way to make the Si plant available, is that right?
I believe so based on what I got from the interview myself.
Five gallon bucket of rice hulls, $5 at the brewing supply in town.

Pretty sure I listened intently but did you cover foliar versus drench application of silica? Thanks Tad & guest!

cheers
Why arent there any timestamps on all of your videos? Its really difficult to handle
Not salicylic acid, let’s all make sure you don’t blast your plants with acne medication.
Yes you’re correct. Silicic acid.
Tad, if you upload episodes more frequently, I will give you a little smooch
