I never know what to do in my sketchbooks so I love these videos. Very inspirational. I really love the lil bunny stickers and the bee. Very beautiful artworks.
I really LOVE that page with the carrot and mushroom and all the little drawings. It reminds me of the more classic children's books illustrations probably from long before we were even born. Eg. OLD original Winnie the Pooh or Beatrix Potter. It's only now do I realise, that styles have changed a lot in book illustrations away from that and yet I still love that classic look. It's not something that I can draw, but I appreciate it. I'm too pedantic and don't know how to just draw loose. I really do need to learn it and just allow myself to be loose and enjoy not trying to be perfect (realistic). Yours actually are beautiful ❤️
Thank you. I do love the old illustrations. Have you read the book, the boy the mole the fox and the horse. Again very loose drawings. Such an inspiration. I totally know what you mean, it is so difficult just be loose and let go of perfection. Not used salt before. I'll have to yoink the salt shaker at lunch tomorrow. You're much braver than I am with pen! I only go straight in for abstract doodles. One day I'll pluck up the courage. More stickers for me to get for my collection *insert evil laugh* Love the lemonade. It looks wonderfully refreshing. Excellent work on the glass! I've just added most of the strawberries to some sketchbook covers (I've had to put some strawberries aside for my niece too) and that lead me to opening the sketchbooks and now I'm painting in 2 sketchbooks at once trying to use up some crappy fabric paint that cake with a craft kit. I couldn't just waste it even if it was gloppy and weird. Luckily I love how fabric paint feels on paper so it's a good ending. Uh. Sorry for that ramble, clearly needed to share!

@@TheCassieProjects I really should try doing the art that scares me - it's how I eventually found my love for gouache! I'll dig out some Biros as the feeling of drawing with one should counterbalance the fear. You should try the fabric paint. I only did it the first time as my niece had made about a gallon of a couple of 'special' colours for use on squishies and I couldn't bear to waste it! I may have passed on my love of moriah Elizabeth to her and now I'm expected to have as many art options as she does. I'm dreading having to make a blob universe of our own! Hurrah again for getting to 2000!
