Couldn’t help reflecting while you were giving the garden update on how far you have come from your days of balcony gardening. You are doing to have so much more produce this year…..especially if the pesky squirrels will leave it alone. I’d be really mad to have a tomato taken! (Edited to fix typo in Norah’s name. Ooops. 🙃)

I’m 23 and a first grade teacher and just had my sweet baby girl on the 23rd! Its comforting to see someone experience the same stage of life at the same time 💕
@@haileykatelynn We are getting into more of a routine which is nice. I am very type a and all about routines so I’m definitely having to learn how to let go a little. I’m so used to having such a structured day at school where I know exactly what I’m doing that it’s definitely been an adjustment but oh so sweet!
Ok. First Warren gets a couple hubby points for taking the baby and letting you nap. Second, Norah is so sweet. I'm working in the infant room for way over 15 years now. Your doing great. You already realize that this stage of her life goes by so quickly. Enjoy it. Even the crappy crying days. All that will eventually end and you'll forget that they had fussy days. This first year will be over before you know it and she'll be walking.

There will be fussy days and tough nights but you’re doing great! I held my babies a lot during their nap time- totally ok!! Do whatever feels right to you! ❤️

I don't know if this will be encouraging or discouraging, but a lot of babies cry in the late afternoon/early evening in the first month or so. Hopefully it was just an off day, but if she continues to have rough late afternoon/early evenings, just know that it's normal and it has nothing to do with anything you are doing. Remember it's a season. It will feel like a really long season when you're in it, but it will actually be a really short season.

Hey Hailey! You are doing a great job! As moms we need to hear that especially on the hard days. It is normal for babies to be fussy sometimes. It is the hardest part of motherhood to know you have tried everything and baby is not happy. Just remember these hard moments will pass.
Props to you for vlogging! First few weeks with my son i barely found time to shower 😅 but he 3 months now & i will say it does get easier! Bittersweet tho because I feel like I blinked. Cherish the newborn cuddles ♥️

Yes - Warren has been such a big help!! It definitely goes by so quickly, she is already three weeks old today and I can't believe it! 🥺
