Just found your channel. What a treasure trove of family memories this is going to be for your daughter in the future , awesome. I'm from NZ but absolutely love Aussie.
Great start for your big lap! Sure will kid will learn heaps along the way! Thanks for providing info about places. Appreciate you people are being optimistic and learning with new camper! Keep going and have great fun. Safe journey Keep posting 👍🏻
Enjoying your travels! Been camping and crossing deserts all my life. Getting too old to do it now so please please please keep this up. Real people, real adventure, real experiences. Love it!
I only just found your channel, so lovely to watch people that are still figuring it out. Definitely subscribed and going to binge the rest of your videos.
You can get a flip up vent to put on the roof of the canopy - pressurizes it and NO dust. Won't stop the cracked welds tho. Great relaxed presentation, feels like you are our friends. Thanks, see ya next episode
Keen to see how the new trailer goes and how many if any, issues you run into. Coupla' likeable characters, will look forward to the following episodes.
Not boring at all! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us all these cool things and history of this great country. Travel safe, look forward to the next video.
Absolutely awesome use of the drone to give us that great perspective of where you are and what’s there, just can’t beat it. Thanks for taking the time to use that, really makes your videos go next level.
Cam and Tiff, this channel will become huge because you are doing things the way you like them not what's good for ratings like my other favourite channel. Thanks for not covering up the things that have gone wrong. Can't wait for the next vid.
Thank you for an extremely interest video, Brings back fond memories of travelling with our children. The narrative, scenic points and photography are great. Safe travels.
I agree with alot of the comments, not boring at all, I live in QLD and it is good to see the other side of OZ. Fun facts with Tiff, yes it should be part of your clips. Love it guys keep them coming.
Loving it guys very interesting. Good to see the dust isn’t getting in so far. Drone footage is spot on can’t wait to see more of this great land though the lens of your camera. Safe travels 👍🏻🍻🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
GREAT video guys, thanks so much (and no... sorry Mrs Touring, not boring at all). Congrats on the 10,000 and; as I had a quick look - the 15,000/16,000. Looking fwd to catching up on the rest of the videos - Peter V.
Well that would be the best video you made so far,not boring so please keep up the little educational part..it's awesome because you got the family and getting to see them as you travel this great beautiful land is going to be a delight.. keep showing little parts of the set up as you get to camp that will help you get more footage and then down the track do a run through of the Vans set up and another time of the car.. really excited to see your travels and adventure's.. definitely the best video yet Cam..and girls.. keep up the good work and I'll tune in on this lap of yours ..cheers Big Pete...
Great videos guys, a reminder of the time we did our travels in our motor home. We followed the route you are basically, we did not do quite so much off road stuff of course.
Great first video guys. Your weighbridge experience was exactly like ours the first big trip we did with our camper. Good to see I’m not the only one. We had the same issue with our freezer being overfull with our pre made travel buddy meals and the items at the top weren’t frozen but after a few days of eating it down it was fine. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your adventure
Hi, you guys are great, we love your honest non pretentious disposition, very refreshing. My partner and I are deep in the throws of research at the moment for a trip next year, you guys are heightening our excitement. Thank you.
@@WildTouring we have a funny saying with our kids when on road trips; "let's get a bit of distance between us and the road". We know it makes sense but it gets us laughing when things are quite (if you know what I mean) up in the cockpit. Happy travels.
Absolutely AMAZING Cam and Tiff!!. Chloe is so adorable!!. I went to Ayers rock and Alice springs back in 2014/2015 with my mum, we did a tour from Uluru to Alice Springs, it was absolutely amazing!. She used to live in Sydney for 7 years. I absolutely love Australia, I live in New Zealand. Keep up the amazing videos, All the best. Alex.
Great vids - well done guys. There is a green button on the dunny cassette right next to your thumb at 18:53. Press it to release the vacuum and the cassette contents will flow out rapidly. Not sure - but the toilet in our MDC XT16 has a light to indicate half and 'quite' full. Thanks for pointing out the monolith facts in Oz - we were all reaching for the comment button to correct you - but it would seem we are the ones whom need more research - well done again. Cheers DD
Pressed the button this morning whilst emptying and ended up with a nice big splash over the feet 😂😂😂 we’ll get there eventually haha. We’ve since discovered the red full light too 😊
I like how the Australian was is more out into nowhere to camp. Where a lot of U.S. campers get moved to a sight for the season and never moved. Unless you get out west, where there is more open free land. Then a lot of big off road vans. I am surprised at towing with a smaller vehicle. We usually tow with 3/4 or 1 ton trucks.
Spot on mate I drive road trains up an down the Great Northern hwy and I can say without fear of conviction that around %50 of the rigs would be overweight. I had a MDC camper and love it but like a lot of others loaded it was just under 300kg on the ball which is bullshit and poor design. Really enjoying your episode's gang this will be very successful channel cheers mate.
The fold out bed with proper solid walls is a great idea. Never been keen on the ones with canvas sides. Always wondered what the second largest monolith was, Kokerbin is the third, so now the gap in my knowledge is filled :) Looking forward to following your travels. It is a long time (1998) since we started off on our first lap.
Hi guys. I am hooked. Really enjoying your story thoroughly. I feel like lm on the trip with you. Hoping to buy my first hybrid so am really interested in how yours goes. Keep up the fantastic story. It’s not boring at all and lm learning heaps. Safe travels. KB and family
Keep it coming. Enjoyed the fact that you share your decision making and learning experiences. PS the history isn’t boring they were the same adventurous souls you are without the technology.
I’m feeling very lucky to have stumbled across your channel. Can’t wait to keep working through your other episodes. Hope you’re still out there enjoying your trip
Walga Rock is now on my list! Thanks guys. Congrats on the 10K milestone. The canopy is probably allowing dust in due to flexing - probably the same reason the welds cracked. Poop dumping made Chloe want an icecream! Love to know how the mail run truck managed what it did. There's a lesson in that for us in 2020. Loved the footage, thanks for taking all that trouble to get those shots. Nice time of the year to be travelling - no flies and you can warm up with more layers but hard to cool down.
Awesome stuff guys. Loved it. Don’t worry the black water stuff gets a lots easier as you go. Wait until you go to a van park and people are having a good ole yarn while you empty the tank lol. Everything gets easier as you go. 16 months on the road for us now and we are loving it.
0:55 ceiling light is on, door not shut? And the missus has a twisted seat belt - double the injury on a sudden stop. 1:10 don't roll until all seat belts are clipped. 2:00 get that dolly wheel pointing up! 13:05 is located in the Mount Augustus National Park in Western Australia, is the world's largest rock and is approximately two-and-a-half times the size of The local Wadjari people call it , after a Dreamtime figure, a young boy who was speared and turned into a rock. cassette
Not boring for me. It's actually good to finally have someone record their tour of Australia and bring the history knowledge into it.
Michael Andrews and we get to be apart of it!
Thank you
The smiles on your faces.... enjoy your trip of a lifetime :).
Awesome .. love the raw footage feels like we are their with you ! The nappy handoff is the best 😂😂
