In hindsight it's pretty clear how much of a shitshow Collider was to these guys. I remember when Collider essentially fired everyone in the company and John Campea had a contentious interview with the CEO of Collider on a livestream

Well...if it's literally your job to host a well known Star Wars show on TH-cam and you thought you had but good connections and relations to Disney but got not even invited and totally ignored and because of that "betrayal" you can't do your job properly anymore...well I would feel overlooked and also be pretty pissed too. Ranting about it and getting called out and thrown under the bus at the same time live on air by your producer was but unprofessional on both sides.

1/ give one to Harloff so he could cover it on Jedi Council; sending Haleigh and some other rando to cover it for print was a bit strange
2/ give the passes to Haleigh and the other rando so they could cover it for the website AND say, “thanks so much, whilst I’ve got you, would it be possible to arrange for members of our Jedi Council show to come visit? That way you’ll get excellent coverage across all of our platforms.”

Im not gonna justify this outburst or his ridiculous statements but on the part of them not having chemistry Ive seen a number of their videos talking abiut movie news and they do have lots of chemistry they can be quite entertaining even if all thier views are shallow.

I'm noticing a trend with this guy.
I don't know the names of the other people involved, but the lady sitting across from him was trying to keep it professional and the dialogue civil while guiding him to why what he was saying was just childish and the other woman was attempting to lead the conversation toward a lighter tone and different topic.
The producer didn't help matters by saying Kristian was going to cover the story, but he might have been in a corner with Kristian whining live on air and not allowing the conversation to move on to other topics.

The truth is it's very hard to get press credentials for Disney Parks. I have a podcast about Disneyland that I've been doing for almost 9 years. And I've asked. A bunch of times. They are very selective. So I too did not get invited and you know what? It's ok. I don't feel like I deserved it. I'm not all butthurt about it. It's called professionalism. Harloff just guaranteed that he will never get invites from Disney Parks ever. Disney Parks sent an invite to Collider. His beef should be with Collider who sent other people. Not Disney.

Imagine thinking being a fan of something is a difficult job that entitles you to special treatment from that thing.... This man-baby can't be real
It is his job. He has to research all the expanded universe, all the star wars news, go to events and make content. He does star wars as a job because he is a fan of it. He isn't saying he deserves it just because he is a fan of it but because it is literally his job to talk passionately about it as a fan to get views. In doing that, he has made one if the top star wars shows. It's like movie reviewers, they watch movies because they are fans of movies. So their job is to be fans. If they just review movies and aren't fans then it'd show and no one wants to watch someone talk about something they don't care about.
That being said: it's weird that he wasn't invited, and I understand why he is butthurt since he promotes all the star wars stuff. He should still cover the news as it is his job. He could Skype the people that went and have them talk about it. It's very unprofessional that he is refusing because of personal reasons.

Okay, so finally someone posted the "full" version of the argument, and it's even more pathetic than the previous short version. In fact is such a trainwreck that I had to watch twice, here's what i got from it;
Hat guy is trying constantly to sell the alibi of not being butthurt for a personal reason, putting the blame in the "business", even if it's clear he's actually mad at not being PERSONALLY invited.
The girls, specially the blondie one is trying to settle down the whole thing, at same time trying to defend her colleagues that got the invitation. However, everytime Hat Guy gets louder, the girls go automatically in a "yes, sir" form, even if disagreeing.
Hat Guy proceed to explain how basically there's a food chain on his "business", and how he's angry at Disney sending the rookies, and not him or other "skilled" guy., much for the blondie girl cringe.
Finally the producer crashes the argument, explaining how by contract Hat Guy have to report on the Park, and how Haley was actually skilled enough to be invited.
Hat Guy gets enraged and starts accusing the producer of screaming at everybody, besides that never happening, once again throwing his colleges under the bus, using them as human shield for his own tantrum.
Cock fight between producers gets heated, and literally every other member start to laugh at the embarrassment, not trying to even pretend seriousness anymore.
Blondie girl tries AGAIN to break the ice with a stupid joke, but it only makes it worse.
Suddenly producer gets on mute, and everybody goes back to shill movies again, going back to the standard laugh-at-everything commentaries.

He did, but I don't blame the producer. Harloff was being dismissive of the work that Collider paid other employees to cover just cuz he wasn't invited. He also was potentially burning bridges for the company in general on air since he is a representative.
That being said, they should have figured out a signal or a way to cut to an immediate break considering the backlash they got after Ms. Striar told Game of Thrones fans who were disappointed with episode 5 of this season to "write your own script".
