@@jaysilverheals4445 ever got interested in Bailey mountain cloggers? apparently yes. Thats why they are better. Bailey mountain cloggers are millions better. Best choreography. ez ; - ) lol haha jajaja i never read your reply, bye
This is my favorite style of clogging. Bailey Mountain is a pure as it gets. Not a big fan of the contemporary stuff these days but this is sweet as honey for the soul.
These talented young people are terrific! Very high energy dancing with great enthusiasm. I've seen lots of clogging but these folks take the cake. Another wonderful American tradition. Thanks for posting this. I'm STILL tapping my toe and smiling...
I saw you several times in Western NC when I lived there. You are one of my favorite clogging groups and I always loved your energy and precision. Keep dancing!
Jay!!! I love you, ryan, richard, and my old bmc clogging group!!! Definitely leather & lace beauty infused here!!! Beauty on the clog taps and everything else that your magic touches! Miss this chemistry so much!💓
I've been a cloggin fan for as long as i can remember. I've seen BMC on here, I also have the the video that this came from. Have even chatted w/past BMC dancers. This was AWESOME & i know clogging proud. You may modernize it some but, you've never forgot your roots.
Wow everytime I watch this video I get so excited. These guys know how to clogg you can tell the excitement and joy they have in their craft. Would love to see more videos from these guy they have the best routines of any videos I have saw on youtube keep up the good work guys Looking forward to seeing more videos from you.
This is one if not the best clogging performance I've seen ... It's too bad we have to look to a 1997 video or earlier to fine, good, old fashioned American culture in full display...
There was another fabulous clip of the Bailey cloggers on here but it’s been removed, it’s was fantastic, they all did a Little dance each with their partners, wish someone would upload it again
A striking difference between the old (fifites sixties era)videos and this newer video is that the dancers in the older videos often looked very skinny while in this video they look more athletic and muscular.
16 ans après , je suis pas sûr qu’ils soient encore en mesure de se lancer dans cette danse endiablée ! Didier( alors moi, je fais pareil tous les matins, mais bon, j’le fais dans ma salle de bain, alors ça fait pas pareil!)
Impressive. One thing that strikes me as a younger guy is that the women were so much more feminine back even 25 years ago. A lot of women in my generation are hyper-masculine and covered in tattoos etc. I guess I was born in the wrong generation.
QuartetmanIA They're both types of percussive dance, with a lot in common but a lot of individuality too. Anybody who learns one type would find it easy to learn the other, compared to someone with no training. Flamenco is also percussive. Seems to be a worldwide tendency to stomp your feet rhythmically in time to music.😊
QuartetmanIA -- Clogging originated in the UK. It was brought to the US by Scotts, Welch and English immigrants. Tap was derived from clogging and developed in northern cities. Clogging, flatfooting and buck dancing was more rural and in the South. One main difference between tap and clogging is tap is syncopated to the beat while clogging and flatfooting are on the beat.
@@johnsmith-bx4rn -- OOpps, sorry. I did forget about the Irish contribution to the mix. Hope my wife doesn't see this. Considering she insisted on Claddagh rings for our wedding you can figure out her heritage.
Ive seen better choreography that I have done myself but I didn't have a team that was that good though we did when and make it to hee Haw only myself and mother are champion individuals the team members on bailey mtn always the best look like a bunch of burton Edwards, he is the best hands down
Have yet to see a clogging dance better than this one. Whoever choreographed this was a master.
ever heard of David Hoffman or the blue ridge mountain dancers? apparently not

It is the most coordinated, harmonized and exciting dance I have ever seen.
This is definitely my favorite clogging video. Such talent!!!
The Bailey Mountain Cloggers always seem to be having so much fun. It's contagious.

I'm back watching again, these people are so damned good.
WOW! When did you last see people doing what they love and doing it because they love it!
I like how they "whoop" and "holler" throughout the whole thing. Makes it look like so much fun.
I saw you several times in Western NC when I lived there. You are one of my favorite clogging groups and I always loved your energy and precision. Keep dancing!
I never tire of watching this. I wish today's Bailey Mountain Cloggers would duplicate it. That would be Awesome!!!
Very Enjoyable ! The best team I have ever seen !
Stunning and unsurpassable
Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You.
I've watched this clip several times, trying to spot one of them making a mistake. I couldn't find one. They are superb.

Should take this to Scotland. They would LOVE IT!
This is FANTASTIC!!
I love how they holler..you can tell they're having the time of their lives. I have this video btw,

I start out my day watching this video. Practice makes perfect and y’all have been practicing a bunch!
I never get tired of watching this...it is awesome!
WOW! This was 20 years ago, where are these people today?!
The Song is " Fireball Mail". This is an awesome display of the way Clog dancing should be done!
Now, this is clogging at it's BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bravo absolutely amazing.🤩 it's all I can do to remain vertical and walk☹️

Wow....that was definately a long time ago.....I think I was like 8 and clogging with Unlimited Power at the time. I really looked up to BMC!
quelle énergie !! superbe !!
I'm sure no group of lowlanders will have the natural stamina to dance this at this pace. :)
A striking difference between the old (fifites sixties era)videos and this newer video is that the dancers in the older videos often looked very skinny while in this video they look more athletic and muscular.
That was un-fukking-believable.
Blue. Mt. Inn. Daileys
Whoo!
Just amazing, hard training I bet
Awesome Job.. almost 15 years later .. what are they doing now?
Don't let that keep u from continuing to clog :)
Talk about precision dancing? that is really very impressive It looks hard going, but they seem to enjoy their routine.
Does anyone know who/what the song is? I love to buy the recording...
Beauteous Babes.
Riverdance has nothing on these dancers!
This is a American thing while River dance is preformed all over the world.
Yeah but there is a difference between Transgender and irish dancing..us transgender are normally high.
I dance with high country dance studio
It’s a bunch of cheerleaders ! This isn’t clogging .
I can't help but feel they all have bilateral TKR's by now!
Riverdance ain’t got nothing on them. Watch that precision 🙀
Thats kewl. Do you still dance? I'm disabled, since birth, so I've never been able too.
ticka tacka tick tick tick tick ticka tack tack tacka woooh ticka tick tick tacka tack woooh, tick tick tick tacka tick tack tacka tack woooh.
Wow! How do you say "Bravo!" in Southern? Yankee boy wants to know!
+randance1 yeehaw

+Icepick Charlie then "Yeehaw!" it is! From a lifelong Yankee looking to retire to the Southern Highlands.

They should be on a hollow floor
This doesn't look like tap dancing, but do you have to know how to tap dance to do this or is clogging a dancing style all its own?

Scotch, Irish influence.
I have to say it, better than Riverdance. Sorry.
Oh Yeah!!!
HAHA...ya'll know you are wearing purple and green....that's Ironic!
face palm
People are pushing it too much...Just keep it simple

very good but not the blue ridge mountain dancers. too sanitized and choreographed
It looks like a cheerleader get together. Don’t see authentic dancing.
They are very talented but I hated watching.
Seems to be lacking in fluency. Not smooth.
Too coreographed. Too artificial. While high standard, it is missing the soul and umpf of real mountain people. Even the screams are too clinical.
These people dance like republicans pretending to be from the Ozarks.... disappointing.
stupid is what it is
It was an amazing time in my life...Richard dillingham and the entire family there...really did us right...amazing part of my life!!!
