    I live in a Trinidad 15 years now and mi love the wild meat scene it take awhile for me to try because of my typical jamaican close mindedness but the chadon benni with the wild meat is a vibe.

    My Trini husband tried to feed me curried Iguana but not me. Our daughter said it was good. She have her fathers taste buds. Great content as always.

    Culturally, iguanas aren't a common food source in our Jamaican diet. However, it's refreshing to see how open minded we can be to accepting other cultures and embrace their foods and lifestyles just the same. So Raj, much respect doing this video.

    Curry Iguana goes great with ground provision (Casava, Dasheen, yam and sweet potato). We use the Chadon Benni more for the seasoning of meat, using too much really spoil the taste, using the right balance is a skill

    11:40 From St. Lucia, on behalf of all the creole-speaking Caribbean, Chadon Beni is not ENGLISH. It is French-Creole for 'blessed herb'

      Before the British came here. Trinidad use to speak French.

    • @savagepro9060
      @savagepro9060 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When the French revolution started, aristocrats in the Caribbean region fled to Trinidad to escape the guillotine, they took with them their slaves most o which cam from Martinique. Trinidad was up to that time a was of little value to the European colonialists, until later
