Being a banker i can say that the data can be easily presented before the supreme court. It will take around 2 to 3 days for the data centre team to decrypt the data.
If SC agrees with SBI, then they will be more at fault than SBI. SC should come down heavily on SBI and take action on people who are in charge. Start right from the top and send the chairman behind bars.

Being a data analyst, for my organization, one part of my job is to do check n balances of sales orders where we are handling monthly close to 500k transactions and which takes from a few to cpl of hours. Interesting to know that SBI never had centralized data but had stored information securely in individual branches?
It's not really the case. They have implemented core banking many years ago. The data may not be centralised but there are interfaces through which data can still be gathered within hours. It's pretty clear who has arm twisted them into taking this weird stance.
SBI is also defying and mocking Supreme Court. Like Modiji did in circumventing SCI's order on panel for CEC selection. CJI should initiate contempt proceedings against all concerned.

It is not at all shocking. It is the order of the day. SEBI did the same. They flouted the Supreme Court orders. Now SBI did the same. They knew they would get away with it. And they would be saved by the higher authority.

SBI didn’t maintain Central database of donors .The information is kept in sealed cover at different branches ,So it will take time But the time asked by SBI is way too much..10-15 more days would be enough

When Supreme Court has declared EVMs as "not free, fair and transparent" in its 2013 judgement then how data from EVMs and not VVPAT are still being used for counting of votes? Doesn't this goes against the Supreme Court's judgment? Being a data analyst, for my organization, one part of my job is to do check n balances of sales orders where we are handling monthly close to 500k transactions and which takes from a few to cpl of hours. Interesting to know that SBI never had centralized data but had stored information securely in individual branches?
It's not really the case. They have implemented core banking many years ago. The data may not be centralised but there are interfaces through which data can still be gathered within hours.
It's pretty clear who has arm twisted them into taking this weird stance.
Being a developer, I am very sure if Supereme court want can bring the data in matter of seconds.
