Bernie sanders has been a independent for his entire career so it doesnt surprise me that only 1 bill hes written has become law. But hes also co-sponsored 218 bills that have become law and has written 15 resolutions that have passed. So that's a bit of a misnomer to say he doesnt know how to legislate
You’d think as long as he’s been there, independent or not, he’d figure out how to be effective working with people who don’t agree with him, ya know like effective politicians have figure out
@RebeLandshark he has co-sponsored many bills, so yeah he has worked with people that don't agree with him. I'm surprised that chaps talked about him because many of the bills and resolutions he's passed were to help veterans. Him and McCain famously passed a bill together to increase funding by billions to the VA. Him and Josh Hawley were also the ones that worked together as the main components to pass the 2nd round of stimulus checks. Those are just a couple of examples of many.

@@bradywalton1357 dude rubs me the wrong way. Beyond political disagreement with him, he tends to make broad proclamations on things as though his word is final. His iPhone stance for example. "Droid users are poor" or "their phones are their personality" Plenty of statement like "if you say or do X then you're Y". Not trying to go on a big T tirade just wanted to give a sincere response to your question. Hope you have a good day.
