Prior planning and time is needed to make these. What do you want to make and how many. You need plans, patterns, wood, paint and time. It takes approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours to make/finish some of these ornaments. Most people would find it difficult to find the time to make more than one or two per day or to work on these every day. Christmas is less than 10 weeks away.It seems the people with the artistic talent have not made these for Thanksgiving or Halloween. At least I have not seen them.
An interesting process for a well-ventilated area. Buzzzz :-) It may be too blurry for a closely detailed pattern like clock wheels but certainly adequate for decorative patterns. Problem with my pattern was the spray adhesive itself. Will not buy another can of that stuff. I have used a similar process of photocopies onto transfer paper for making printed circuit boards, which was then ironed onto the copper clad board for etching. I take it you’re a graphic artist. I like your patterns!
I turn the volume down on the editing as the saw and shop vac are running. Wood type, density and thickness and what blade works best for you. I have tried over 30 different blades. This time I was using the polar but I generally use the FD-SR 5 for most work.
