I wouldn’t regard it as showing off. She probably felt beautiful in it. There’s so many cultures where ball gowns are the standards for wedding dresses.

I’ve worn dresses like this to multiple events and I’ve also done shoots in dresses like these. No one is a promoting a false beauty standard, you’re promoting a divide in something you can’t fathom simply because you do not like it and find comfort in it, but many others can.
