Impressed. Ma shaa Allah. An engaging chat. Apparently Dauda Kahutu Rarara is a lot more than his lyrics. What captures the imagination is his identifying data as the basis for any sustainable development. Suggests his interaction with the high and mighty has rubbed off well on him.
Only thing that I find a little off key is the cliché of the youth as the only agents of positive development. This is tends to lay all the blame for the failure and rot in our society on ALL of the elderly. In fact even those with no hand in any effective management position.
Age is just a number. And we see the young in positions of authority proving to be worse than a majority of the older hands. Worse, the young have a sense of entitlement and usually even when they have no opportunities they mostly look for where to get chances to do all that they say and we all see done by others no matter their age.
I love this interview. The interviewee and the interviewer have been most entertaining. And Rarara has got my vote. I see him far different from what impression I have had of him since 2013, the only time I specifically visited his office where I saw and didn’t like what I saw of what I thought were airs and haughtiness that was not fitting for a performer of his standing and renown then. He is a lot more humble than I thought he was from my first encounter with him, ma shaa Allah.
