- GSL Best in Class winner, Gary Kulchock and veteran builder Chip Wamsley share stories of the 24 Hour Build, their automobile themed trip around the UK (Morgan Factory!), and their models. Gary's NSX Manx and his Lamborghini Countach, and Chip's special Austin 7 and his Firebird III from Andy Martin's resin Aardvark kit, were a treat to see in person at the final GSL.

Thank you to Chip and Gary for sharing their stories and builds with us at GSL. Looking forward to the 24 hour build!
great video. I have meet Gary at a show this year and had a nice conversation with him. he showed me new skills to help my building. He is a great builder and good to the hobby. I have also been in he 24hr build for the last 5 years and learned a lot from them. have a great week
Two of the great guys in our hobby!
Thanks Doug, Great seeing Gary and Chip, personalities behind the names we've seen in magazines for years. Totally loved that Super-Glue comment. I've used superglue, superglue and baking soda and/or talcum powder as filler for years, started in monster models with it, (think those awful Revell Roth kits). I've had guys on model car forums tell me "Oh you shouldn't use that stuff; it'll crack right off the model", same "experts" who use two-part fillers. Have models with superglue on them 25+ years with zero defects, the stuff works, you're right it's archival!
Wow, that dune buggy caught my eye... i built the stock manx to match my real one.. i used to build as a kid into my teens.. now im 59 and want to slowly get back to building some models ive kept for years in the closet... thanks for sharing
It is great to see Gary and Chip on your channel! Both are excellent builders and all around great guys! I am fortunate enough to call them friends. BTW, I thought I was pretty ingenious just polishing out the white body and applying decals on our first couple of 24 hour builds…lol.
Thanks For Sharing Your " Phenomenal " Builds Guys & GBA 🤗 Gary.
Glad to see your ok ! We had a Gary Parker hear in Akron pass from a bad accident! Wasn’t sure were you are from? Thank goodness eh ! Guess there are more than one person with the same name! 😎✌️🇺🇸

Nail polish has always been my favorite except for the smell! Very old build’s still look contemporary. Very affordable too! Another great video Doug ! Good to see builders from way back! Thanks Doug !✌️😎🫡🇺🇸

Thank you Doug and Giovanna for putting together such a great video.
Great video. My friends and I had breakfast with Gar and Chip after 40tth NNL - a lot noisier and probably ruder.🤣

Thanks, Jason. I think it sounds interesting, too, I might give it a go this year!
