The world, especially the Russians, the Chinese and the Europeans, sees Africa as a source of raw materials, nothing more. If the world does devolve back to where it was before WWII, we may also see a return to imperialism in Africa. I see this already starting with the Chinese belt and road initiative, and European attempts to secure alternate sources for raw materials.
