We were very excited to be visiting a Hindu temple for the first time which is located on an island!
In the middle of the Indus River, between Rohri and Sukkur, lies a small island called Sadhu Bela. The centuries-old temple is very unique heritage site in Sindh, Pakistan.The door of complex opens to Dharam Mandir but it is spread over nine acres and sacred to both Hindus and Sikhs.There still exists a tree in the temple premises.It is famous that Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, taught Sadhus about the path of life. Bella means forest in Sindhi language, so whenever Hindus, British and Muslims, all used the word Bella. The reason was the presence of forest here. In 1823 AD, a Nepali Sadhu named Bankhandi, reached this island via Rajasthan and selected this place for his worship and knowledge. Due to the influence of the Hindus, no one was allowed to evict Bankhandi Sadhu from the island. When the British captured the fort of Bakhar, the four stone idols of Bankhandi Maharaj were left as they were. This was the time when island became a place of pilgrimage and worship for Hindus.

You got to appreciate the fact that Immy and Tani are doing their best to present the best of Pakistan and it’s people. I think they've done an incredible job of showing us an insight into Pakistan. Most of us probably will never be able to travel there cause of restrictive visas etc. This is the best we can learn about Pakistan and the hindu minorities. Moreover appreciate the fact that these two took the trouble of visiting a Hindu temple (actually this looks more like a private temple within a house) all because so many people requested them to make a video about Hindus and their conditions.

I am enjoying your vlogs of Sindh. I moved to the US in 1989 but I grew up in Hyderabad and Karachi. My father also had land in Sukkur. Hope you cover more of Sindh. The hill station Gorakh hill, Manchar lake (largest lake in Pakistan), Makli Necrapolis, Sehwan Sharif and others. Great to see this beautiful Hindu temple. Speaking of which Sindhi Sufi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai words ring true:

Liked your display of freedom of religion in Pakistan. It dispels false rumors and also encourages mutual respect. I found the displays of heaven/hell and punishments of afterlife eerily familiar. Wonder if this is also the belief in India, or are these elements reflective of social influence prevalent in pakistan. Good job overall guys.
