I tend to stitch in hand but bought an 11 inch Nurge a few weeks ago. Thank you for this example and review.

For years I have used a 5” plastic spring tension hoop on my counted cross stitch projects. That is about to change since watching this video on the Nurge hoop. I can’t thank you enough for this demonstration. I have already ordered one and will probably be ordering more in the future. Thank you again

Thanks Chris for sharing this, I have been using the same nurge hoop and love it. I can see that we use it the same way. I love the square shape, tension on the fabric, and ease of holding in my hand. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I love my nurge hoops and I’m not always “gentle” with my WIPs and just like you have never seen any damage to my stitches

Hi, thanks for the video. I use hoops but I do not use a stand. What size to you find is the the least tiring to hold?

If you don’t mind me asking, how do you know when the tension is drum tight? I’m new to cross stitch and have this hoop, but I’m struggling to find the correct tension for my fabric. Thank you😊

I think it's a matter of personal preference. I like it not to sag or be loose in the hoop.
