    beautiful review . complete and practical , thank you ... these rubbers become very famous in the market and they are known as a good tenergy alternative . both are fine combination with fast and medium speed blades

    When I tried to make forehand topspin using Nittaku S-1, the balls were going off the table. So I tried Nittaku G-1 on both sides. I had been using Tenergy 64 and 80 for many years. The change was a resounding success. They are very similar for the way I play.

      Oh man, ive been using Nittaku S-1 and it wasnt a really good experience in the spin, how far better is the g-1?

      Yeah but G1 can be too hard for BH if not advanced lvl.

      @@danialiman8431 Much much better, same for C1, there is a reason S1 is significantly cheaper.
      P1 is similar to C1 but it is faster, the fastest of the fastarc serie.

    Thanks for this video, Samson. I've been playing with Nittaku Fastarc G-1 (both sides) for more than 4 years now and I absolutely love them.

    Hey, I am looking for a rubber that would have a big arc like on Rasanter R42, and a chop and ball feel like Rakza Z. With hardness somewhere inbetween the two, and just a little bounce. Been thinking whether C1 would fit, or maybe you can recommend something different altogether? Thanks.

    Lots of people say that lower level players should use rubbers with a softer sponge, but is it possible for for me (lower level player) that has done other sports to quickly advance into a harder sponge like the hurricane 3 neo and learn how to hit the ball hard quite early the career? I feel that tensor rubbers give less control because the force is kinda artificially added. The hurricane 3 neo gives the exact force I put into it and I am able to control it better close to the net. I am using a blade that has high control and is flexible (5-ply wood, stiga offensive classic, ALL+). My channel will have videos of me during my progression.

    • @Waingro808
      @Waingro808 ปีที่แล้ว

      G1 and C1 do not have 'artificial' catapult like other Tensor rubbers, so they are extremely easy to control.

    • @z0uLess
      @z0uLess ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Waingro808 ah, ok, I allready bought Yasaka Mark V so I guess I will have the benefit of using a non-catapult sponge either way

    Awesome ! Now my only question is how much difference between Nittaku Acoustic wood blade and the carbon version??
    It's been a few years and I'm keen to upgrade but nobody at my club has one and only way I can find out is buying one

    C1 is okay for backhand. G1 is Great for forehand and backhand if you even train a little. S1 is just not very good. low throw, not very fast. Maybe for beginners or people who just want to block.

      I agree except G1 can be too hard for BH is not advanced lvl but C1 is more bouncy than G1.

    I actually tried the P1 first which I actually found slower than the g1, despite the fact it's designed for the plastic ball. Also for the life time, I felt like they wouldn't last me longer than 2 months (playing 15hours a week) which is really generous because they we're completely different (and dead) at the end... 200 hours is highly unlikely I think, but they are really good rubbers, pity they don't have thicker than 2.0 mm

    • @Julottt
      @Julottt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      P1 is certainly faster than G1 as Nittaku rated it and i tested them and 2mm is max because the fastarc topsheet are very thick (2mm) and it it not allowed to play competition with more than 4mm.
      Still wondering why this year 2020 video didnt talk about P1 the most recent one and only one made and tested for plastic ball.

    I use Viscaria blade. My forehand rubber is Tenergy 19. Recently, I switched my backhand rubber from G1 to C1, instantly I get better control and flip. I recommend C1 for backhand. G1 is too weak for forehand and too fast for backhand. My level around 1700-1800.

    What I dont understand in table tennis rubbers is that harder sponges often times are described as faster, but isnt it really that it is able to grip the ball at faster speeds?

    • @yugahardiyansah7492
      @yugahardiyansah7492 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess it's all about the rotation,, harder sponge produces more rotation than the softer . It effects the speed of the ball

    • @z0uLess
      @z0uLess ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yugahardiyansah7492 Now I am even more confused. Can you describe what is actually happening to make the ball rotate more when the rubber is harder?

    • @alexham990

      @@z0uLessfrom my understanding, harder sponges have more tension, therefore the return bounce of the ball is faster than softer ones (similar to high tension on badminton or tennis strings)
      While the softer ones produces more spin, it loses out to the raw speed produced by the bounce of the harder rubbers
