Savio also promising. Rico Lewis also solid performance and proved pep's decision to start him against a tough Chelsea side was right(Physically weaker and slower than Walker but way better game reading and positioning imo). De bruyne's current form is kinda sad to watch but after the treble season and the big surgery, how can anyone be critical of him. Pretty sure he will adapt and play his part this season.

Doku is 22. He isn't going to have any major technical development anymore. All that you improve on at that age is physical stuff, experience and specialized skills like a trivella pass. The current Doku you see is 95% finished product. Pep tried to turn stone to diamond. He's tried it many times. This time he couldn't do it. Doku will be gone in 2 seasons from now.
I think to see our team against Chelsea without Rodri and Kova took that responsibility so well + Gundo is so amazing the most important thing wasn't to get a another no.9 but it was someone that took the responsibility cuz Foden could play false 9 when Haaland is not there.
