2) $1,000 is a little bit much, but I wanted a computer that could handle streaming, recording and gaming at the highest level (which is still possible at a cheaper price but I was a NOOB)

I don’t know cause my family hardly makes any money. I have a pc but it’s really low spec and most games are unplayable on it with the terrible download speeds, bad resolution and fps. I also have to go through the hassle of broken launchers like origin and graphic settings in my games. There’s a pc that I’ve been thinking of buying but I’m not sure if I should buy it cause I heard even gaming laptops will start to lose their quality in 2-3 years, so I’d have to buy another one (or just upgrade it if I have a desktop pc) I’ve been thinking of getting a new Xbox and just connect a mouse and keyboard to it or just get the Elite Controller.

@@str549 kind of a late response but there is a bunch of TH-cam videos explaining how and what you need to build a PC,search them up it's definitely worth you're time(Amazon is probably the best place for parts(not used ones tho) and the basic parts are the Motherboard,CPU/GPU,memory(ram),SSD or HDD and a Case that works as the place to store all these parts.

pc is a completely different world compared to consoles, games are cheaper, no playstation plus or xbox gold, aiming is much easier and comfortable, mods, pc is way better a week after i built my pc i ditched my ps4.

I would argue games are cheaper on console if you know where to look. For instance I’ve got 2 PCs and 500+ games on my steam account yet I bought a Xbox One this Christmas and I’m blown away by it! I got sunset overdrive for £3, it’s £11 on sale on PC. Wolfenstien 2 is £19.99 on sale it’s £9.99 on Xbox. Yeah. Some goood deals.
How much was you PC?
Matthew Morcos Mine were £510 and £650 when I first bought them. They’ve been upgraded since and they’re worth around £700-800 now each.

The main reason I switched was load times. I hated waiting over a minute sometimes for a game to load on PS4. Plus if you died, then you had to wait to get back in. I find it amazing how PC load times are very much diminished with a good SSD.
Not saying console is better, but u can easily get an ssd on ps4 or xbox

I played on console for my younger years but when I hit 10 I got a pc and I couldn’t believe how much better it was, lost all my friends tho

I always wanted a console as a child but looking back, I am happy I never got one because my friends would have got one as well at some point. This way we all started on PC (On cheap fucking craptops though. Minecraft at 40-50fps...)
Just couldn't handel 30 fps, moved to PC for that single reason, and mods keeps games life span up.
30 FPS is playable to me still, once you give yourself 15 minutes to adjust it doesn’t bother me. The thing that I hate about console is a lot of games could run at 60fps but they won’t let you or they prioritize graphics and give you no choice. Like Destiny 2 for example could run 60 FPS no problem on Xbox one x but they lock it at 30 cause of Xbox one s. On my pc I can play bf5 in 4K at 30 frames or 1080p at 144, my choice.

@@georgesayoub6564 Emulators is perfectly legel hench why the likes of Nintendo and Sony don't go after them and I'm sure they would love too, in fact, they tried decades ago and lost.
as for the games, if I've bought the game and I want to play it on an emulator, I will, Nintendo, Sony still gets it's cut, just that I don't have to buy the console to do it.
In fact, they should be thanking emulators, because it creates a bigger market for thoes games.
Look at the Switch emulator, at the rate of development, we could end up with a good emulator whiles games are still being made for that console, that for many will likely mean many more gamers buying thoes games then pirating them.
As for the likes of Nintendo going after rom sites, I don't know why they bother, history has shown that for every one they shut down, another 3 pop up, they are not getting anywhere fast.
@@paul1979uk2000 i actually approve game preservation but hate to emulate games that are still selling i don't understand either nintendo's decision but i completely hate people with big fat pcs emulating switch games to save 300 $ ( which is completely nothing compared to their 1200+ pc)

This was my thought process exactly. Overwatch was the first time I felt that a controller was holding me back. I used to stick Tracer bombs with my index finger so I could track them with my thumb.

PC Master Race literally P!$$E$ all over Console Kiddies for quality and quantity.. Years ago they had a Cross platform shooter and they tested it.. The result? Well the console players were handed such a one sided beatdown and the crying was so bad that they scrapped the idea.. Jesus Christ even with aim assist they (the Console Kiddies) got absolutely crushed without exception. i’m getting my PC tomorrow. i’m extremely excited to hold it in my hands and use it. i already have a few Steam games, GTA5, Dark Souls 3, Just Cause 3, MGR:R, Doom 2016 and, the video game series i couldn’t play due to me owning a playstation my whole life: Halo: The Master Chief Collection. i already own 3 of these 6 (wait no, halo MCC comes with 6 other games, technically 11) games on other consoles so i’m excited to see how they run and play on PC

Hey man, Nice video! But your argument about PC prices is a bit flawed. You could spend a lot of money for a great experience, but in 2017 you will outperform consoles with even mid-hardware.
Console games are getting lower settings over a console's life cycle, older PC builds have this too. If you really want to upgrade, your upgrade cost would be lower compared to a console upgrade. Most of the time the graphics card will be part that needs to be replaced to improve the experience. (if lowering the settings won't help, normally it's not that common.)
for example: I used to play on an Asus GTX560 (Older graphics card from 2011, graphics comparable between Xbox360 and Xbox one), I can play a lot of games on 1080P 60 frames per second. However modern AAA games are taxing for this card, even if I lower my settings the best thing I could get is 45-60ish frames per seconds. (30fps is usually no problem, which most consoles games run on). I want to play my games on 60 fps, so in 2016 I bought a MSI GTX 970 (used from a friend) for $200. My other computer parts are still working fine, all from 2011! So I upgraded because I wanted to meet a certain standard, I could have played further on 30fps.
Nowadays with mandatory paywalls like Playstation Plus and Xbox Live to play online. In the long run, those upgrade costs don't sound so high anymore.

They say the graphics are better, the games are cheaper (comes down to if you watch for cheap games, but on average PC games ARE cheaper), you aim better and PCs are way too loud. I been console player over 20 years. I finally switch to pc first of this year. Only regret I have I wish I would switch to pc lot sooner
I was a console player until I got a job and could afford to buy a PC in 2014. I also had a lot to learn about mouse and keyboard controls. It took me about 4 years to finally figure out how to correctly set up things like DPI andd sensitivity to be good. When I first started my sensitive setting where insanely high because I thought high sensitivity was the best way to do it.

@@massclips6729 build your own pc. Check a few TH-cam videos and you can easily build your own pc. Pre-builds tend to be more expensive and they sometimes cheap out on some components like the ram, ssd ect.

For the longest time I never wanted to play pc cuz I didn’t understand it but I finally did switch from Xbox and PlayStation to a pc and it was the best move. Yes learning it was hard but it was worth it in the end

You get all the new Nintendo exclusives AND most of the games that are available on Xbox/PlayStation at higher fps.
The only thing you miss out on are the Sony exclusives

The great thing is that since the beginning I have been a PC gamer. Tried switching to console couple of times because of friends, it was so horrible.
I love my PC but I have not been successful with keyboard and mouse. My long ass Freddy Krueger fingers just don't mesh with the keyboard. It feels like imma get carpal tunnel syndrome from just one gaming session. I use an Xbox controller with my PC.

I’m a little late but, I am playing Xbox with mouse and keyboard since it came out in an update. Its a lot easier now that I have been using it for a while I will be switching to PC in 2020!! Can’t wait😎

I play r6 on console and my friend got it on pc aim and running is the hardest for me and i was done playing i said "i enjoy this much more" i also dd terrible in the match
You can still turn around just as fast you just need high sensitivity that is hard to get used to.

I don't have a top of the line pc (I'm on a laptop) so a lot of times when I die its cause I'm unable to keep up with the people who do have supercomputers. which is the only reason I would play console other than the exclusive games.

I'm too on a laptop. I bought it for work and for gaming. I've 16 GB ram and a 1050 to, but it runs games like rainbow six siege at 90 fps

I just switched to PC + Switch. The thing that no one talks about with PC is how you can do so much more with a PC opposed to just game. And I don't mind missing out the PS5 exclusives, I'll just watch let's plays of those few games.

Pc's aren't as expensive as you think.
Entry level pc's are at the 600$ mark: A ryzen 5 2600, (120), an msi b450 tomahawk mobo (110), 16gb ddr4 3200mhz (70), An gtx 1650 super(170), A 60$ case and a 50$ psu, some fans and you're done.
Thats a pretty good base build, and you should expect more 45fps ultra on all recent games @ 1080p, (except ultra demadning games such as dirt rally 2, then you would have to lower the settings.)
If you have a slightly bigger budget you can upgrade your gpu (ie gtx 1660 super @ 230, rx 5600 xt @ 280, rtx 2060 @300, rtx 2060 super @ 400) to play at 1440p60fps, or 1080 90-144fps, or your cpu to a ryzen 5 3600 @ 200$ or a ryzen 7 3700 @ 300$ (anything above that is overkill)
Honestly you're right on, but amd likes faster ram, and that mobo is capable of speeds up to 4133, so try to get atleast 3600mhz if possible
